Nashville's decision to sit Radulov and AK46 for the 2nd straight game isn't looking so hot right now.Originally posted by Thrash13Dr. Jones was right in stating that. Re: The Official 2012 Stanley Cup Playoffs Thread
It's easier than it has been it past years. Before tonight I was pretty sure they were better than New Jersey and Washington and could put up a fight with the Rangers, but I'm not seeing it. I'd honestly be surprised if they won a cup in the next 10 years. They always pick a time in the playoffs to fall flat on their faces. I'll gladly eat crow if they can win this series (or another game for that matter), but I don't see it happening.Comment

Re: The Official 2012 Stanley Cup Playoffs Thread
Good game by both teams today. I'm disappointed by the loss, but this series is a war and will most probably go to Game 7.
I'm not going to say anything about the missed calls and what not (since it happens to every team), but I do find the refs have been extremely inconsistent throughout these playoffs. Forget playoffs, they have been inconsistent with calls within one game.
As for the Ovechkin hit on Girardi, I'm not a ref or anything but from my quick observation it looked very similar to the Torres hit, though this time without injury. It all depends on whether he left his feet before or after contact I guess. Not sure if it is worthy of a suspension, but even if they do deem it a "dirty" hit, I doubt they'll hand out a suspension. I'm pretty sure the casual hockey fans are tuning in to these games to see number 8 on the ice.Comment

I don't think it was suspension worthy, but you never know with these guys. Like you said, considering who it was, I'd expect to see him MondayWolverines Wings Same Old Lions Tigers Pistons Erika ChristensenComment
