Am I the only one confused by Chicago's goal that was waived off?

It's my understanding that in the NHL you can be in the crease as long as you're not interfering with the goalie. Looked to me like Howard wasn't even touched. The puck went in off the skate but it definitely was not kicked.

This series is beginning to remind me of the Ottawa Toronto series' from the early 00s. Chicago is the more talented team, but Detroit has better goaltending, coaching and more heart, for whatever that's worth.

I've been surprised all playoffs with how pedestrian the Chicago PP is.

I've been surprised by that for about three years now, no idea how its so poor with all the talent the Hawks have.

Yup, all they have to do is win one in DET and they're back in the drivers seat with home ice, but with how the past two games have gone I'm not very confident that will happen.

On another topic the multiple day breaks are really making this series drag out, wish there weren't two two day breaks between the first four games.

How dare you. Bob Cole is a national (comedic) treasure. I was delighted when I found out he'd be calling Wings/Hawks, two teams he hasn't seen in years. I've got a fiver riding on Cole yelling out "STOPPED BY BELFOUR!!" at some point during the series.

And you know damned well that it's pronounced DEE-TROY-IT.
