Wow have the Pens gotten lucky with penalty calls in the third period. Cooke gets away with a high sticking, then Karlsson gets called for breaking his own stick.

It is not luck. The Pens always get the calls when they need them.

guess the league doesnt want the Caps ever to win as well eh?

anyway, hope the Pens play the same type of game in game 4 on Weds, if so i like there chances. just a terrible PP to end the game. man!

Yeah all they had to do was close the game out on the PP at the end and they are up 3-0 in the series.

That defensive breakdown at the end of the game though was horrible. That's the kind of thing that tended to happen a lot when Fleury was in net. It's amazing that the Penguins just started playing much better defense in front of Vokoun.

I'm looking forward to watching the rest of that series. I'm hoping Ottawa can win game 4 just to keep it even.

On a serious note, I'm grabbing a fat order of hot wings and am gonna enjoy this Chicago/Detroit game at 730.

This is a big one. CHI wins and Game 2 was a mirage, DET wins and suddenly it's serious. Even with the Red Wings history, I still believe we all are expecting the Blackhawks to win this series in 6 at most. Tonight could really change that.
