Re: The Official 2013 Stanley Cup Playoffs Thread
Looks like the rope-a-dope in game 1 worked, as Chicago looked asleep for the most part today. Babcock made adjustments and now it's Q's turn to respond.Comment

Awesome bounce-back win by the Red Wings. It was Game 1 in reverse.
Yeah Detroit's not really a physical team, but they did lay some smack today. More than that they just looked too fast for Chicago's checking.NFL: Indianapolis Colts (12-6)
NBA: Indiana Pacers (42-13)
MLB: Cincinnati Reds (0-0)
NHL: Detroit Red Wings (26-20-12)

I'm not sure if you watched the game or not but the refs let a lot of stuff go today. Chicago will definitely have to adjust."You got it man. I don't watch hockey." SidVish"I thought LeBron James was just going to be another addition to help me score."

Get your facts straight. If a Canuck or Crosby complains to the refs, it's whining. If Toews complains to the refs, it's leadership!Originally posted by Thrash13Dr. Jones was right in stating that. Meh. The Kings have been out played except in net. They have had moments, but I don't think their forecheck has been as good as it could be.Comment

Bit shocked when I saw Pearson in the lineup for the Kings tonight. Also the 70 numbers that the Kings young guys wear are so ugly.
Here's to hoping Toffoli can develop into a true NHL goal scorer. That shot was great.NHL: Vegas Golden Knights

The funny part of that goal is that he lost control of the puck, and then when he regained control of the puck Niemi's defenseman helped screen him. It was a great shot, though.Comment

That was an incredible pass to Toffoli, Brad Stuart. I like how you even took your time to check for good passing lanes before you made the pass.Originally posted by XXstormmXXThe reason I always root for multiple teams is because if one team doesn't make the playoffs or gets eliminated, I loose interest in the sport until next season if my team gets eliminated early.
