Jiri Tlusty to the Jets for a couple picks and Daniel Winnik to the Penguins.

Winnik, a pending UFA, returned a 2nd rounder!?
Now granted, the Leafs scouting staff will pick a guy we'll see in ECHL in two years, and out of hockey in four, but still!Comment

Re: The Official 2014-15 Regular Season Talk Thread
Since we mentioned it a couple weeks ago, new developments just came out:
Seattle Mayor Open to NHL First Amendment, EIS done May 7th
The EIS, according to Murray and project observers, is most important roadblock for the proposal to become reality. Seattle arena investor Chris Hansen paid for the work, which has been done by a third party on behalf of the city. Murray said Wednesday the Seattle tunnel project was not a factor in the delays, and said Hansen had been slow to provide needed documentation.
He also revealed Wednesday that he is willing to go to the Seattle City Council to modify the existing Memorandum of Understanding for an NHL team to prompt construction of a new facility. The MOU currently allows for public financing and construction to begin only after an NBA team is acquired.
"Should folks in the NHL or potential owners come to us with a different financial plan that pencils out for the city and for our partners at the county, I would be willing to go back to the council and ask them to open that process," said Murray in an interview at City Hall. "I believe there could be an adjustment for an NHL team first if there if a financial plan that pencils out for the city."Originally posted by BlueNGoldI feel weird for liking a post about exposed penises.Comment

Their scouting staff better not mess this up.They have guys like Dubas and Hunter within the organization now too,so I'd think their scouting would be much better now.Comment

Really pulling for Seattle to get a team, whether that's by expansion (preferably not) or relocation (can we please bury one of these failing markets). The NHL is willing to chase the dollars to Las Vegas, but is letting the Seattle market sit while other teams continue to embarrass the league (if at all possible) with their minor league attendance numbers.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers
NFL - Buffalo Bills
MLB - Cincinnati Reds

In my opinion Crawford is not a franchise goalie for the Hawks but he will be good enough for them to win with the team they have in front of himPhoenix Coyotes
Buffalo Sabres
Edmonton Oilers
Yes... It is a struggle.Comment

That's a large price to pay for a rental. They must know something about Voynov that will lead them to believe that they'll have extra cap space next season.Comment

Interesting way to word it. If the Kings make it back to the SCF, they ain't gonna lose when they get there.Originally posted by Thrash13Dr. Jones was right in stating that.
