Johnson's been taking runs at players all game. And now he'll be having a seat for the rest of the night.
That should be a goal. Nino was pushed into Varlamov.Last edited by ImTellinTim; 10-11-2014, 10:28 PM.Comment

Re: The Official 2014-15 Regular Season Talk Thread
Wow the Bruins are a joke. The Julien/ Chiarelli zero offense philosophy is really going to hit the fan this year.
Allow Iginla to get away, keep thinking of Krejci and Lucic as first line players, think Marchand is anything but a 4th liner/ occasional healthy scratch. Chara and Seidenberg are shadows of their former selves so trade Boychuk. Add NOTHING in the off-season and then lambaste your own young guys for imaginary defensive lapses.
Cam Neely must be distracted again or else lost a bet and has to try to be as bad as the other team in the building (Celtics).
Boychuk in two games with NYI has more points than Boston has goals in 3.
Apparently even national media people thought they could contend to repeat as President 's Cup winners. How in the name of science was that going to happen?
Sickening.

Nice win tonight. Didn't dominate like game 1, but we held our own, and came out of it with a solid victory.
I'm glad that the refs wouldn't let Roy throw his goons out there at the end of the game. Smart move by them, nobody needs that.
4 points, and an 8-0 aggregate score is a great way to start the season.
Bummed we have to wait til Friday for the next game!University of Minnesota Golden Gopher Hockey

Hertl with a nice goal. Great pass by both Joes' and Marleau with a sweet deke to make it 3-0 Sharks. Stalock looks good too.Comment

Re: The Official 2014-15 Regular Season Talk Thread
I am really, really dismayed by fellow Sabres fans. These people are straight up celebrating losing. What a horrendous culture. I should have known better than to throw my lot in with people who have such a losing culture.
I just can't believe that there are fans of teams that are happy to be so awful. All in the name of a draft pick. Pathetic. Utterly pathetic. What a turnoff.
I hope both this McDavid guy and this Eichel guy have terrible careers. Losers should never be rewarded for losing. Ever. Maybe a run of a few busts will break this notion in sports that if you're not a title contender, you should just be the worst you can be. What a ****ing awful mentality. I have no idea how or why this sentiment became so popular among sports fans. It's recent though. Like, within the last few years.
Starting to rethink my fandom with this ****. The team being bad doesn't bug me nearly as much as people who are happy we are bad and get upset when we win. How terrible must it be for the young talent on the Sabres to see the people who are supposed to be rooting for them actively rooting against their development.Last edited by TheMatrix31; 10-12-2014, 03:30 AM.Comment

Still have a tough time seeing the Canucks score enough against good teams, but at least they're watchable again.Originally posted by Thrash13Dr. Jones was right in stating that.
