        Hopefully the Wild keep it going against Nashville tonight. Just a couple weeks ago Bruce mentioned how we have yet to go on that "season defining" win streak.

                    Haha, I was looking this morning at work thinking that the Wild must be one of the best winning streaks right now. I knew the flyers one was still going, but then there were lines 3 other ones from the East that were longer.

                    A lot of streaking going on in the NHL, apparently!

                        Yeah, I think one is PIT and another was NYI lately. We've hardly made up ground in the division! We've also played as many as 5 more games then some teams (Columbus) so it's hard to gauge.

                            IIRC there were 4 teams in the Metro that had a combined winning streak of nearly 30 games. That's why we're still in 3rd

                                            Jagr is now 2nd all time in points. Tied some guy named Messier tonight. The fact he's still playing is one of the most remarkable things in sports.

                                            Also the Wild won again. That's 8!

                                                The Wild are just playing such good hockey right now. Tough back to back coming up at Montreal and at NYR.

                                                        They're generating tons of chances, and playing great defensively. To the point where Dubnyk doesn't even look like he's laboring or making crazy saves during this run.

                                                        They're definitely playing like a great team, IMO. Just need to avoid the yearly swoon now.

                                                            Yeah, but when I look at this team's players compared to other top teams, I see a huge difference in talent. And that'll kill them eventually. Especially when you get into a 7-game series. Not that this is new, mind you. I just have that "I've seen this before, when do we lose to Chicago again?" feeling.
