Canucks are a good team. they have a nice future. The Avs on that last goal had to be tired. And Vegas and Lightning is my Cup final. I hope the Stars can upset that I want Joe P to win a Cup.

Agree on all points except stars upset. I'd rather see Lehner win actually. He has had a couple of really crazy years and a former alcoholic winning with Las Vegas of all teams would be kind of cool.

Vancouver will have a good future if they can stay below the salary cap. I have a feeling they will not be able to keep the depth they had this year for very long though. EP and Hughes will cost Hughes moneys (sorry for that). What will happen to Markström? He was awesome all season but can they afford a big contract for him when they have Demko who was completely insane the final three games...


Vegas are my favourites to win. They are so heavy but still speedy.

Dallas into the stanley cup final. They were the 5 seed going into the playoffs and had the hardest path, beating the Avs and Knights (the 2 and 3 seed).

First time in the finals since their runs in 99 and 2000. Those were one of the first teams I really loved. The Modano,Nieuwendyk,Hull,Belfour days.

Those jerseys were the best the franchise ever had too.


And all but likely playing the Lightning in the finals. Who would've guessed Dallas vs Tampa.

Dallas is the 3, Colorado was the 2 and Vegas the 1. They were not supposed to win either series. And to beat Vegas twice in the series in OT (and early in OT both times) was amazing!

And yes, I love those 99 and 00 year teams and agree on the sweater being the best in the franchise’s history. I told my wife I may have to pull my Modano sweater out for the Final but superstition says leave it in the closet!
