Teams have figured out a cheat code/glitch.

    Wraparounds lead to goals.

    Blues with 2 wraparound goals.

Each team had a fake wraparound which fooled the goalie, and just passed it to a guy infront the net who scored.

That was definitely not a goaltending exhibition.

Binnington gives up the game winner on a terrible angle shot following a D-zone turnover.

I know we have more than half a season left to go, but assuming we get to 82 games and things stay around the same, the 2nd WC in the east could finish with 108 points! Yes, 2nd WC.

Red Wings are currently on pace to be the "9th seed" with 82 points.

Only 2 teams in the west have a higher point% than the 8 seed in the East.

We need to bring back the Canadian division. It looks like only two Canadian teams, Toronto and probably Calgary will make the playoffs.

Amazes me how much attention hockey gets in Canada and the Canadian teams for the most part are terrible year after year.

I said it before, its various factors, but players not being able to handle the pressure/not wanting to play there, teams lack of desperation to be good (due to good profits no matter what) are definitely contributing factors here.

The salary cap probably has a part in it too. You're at a disadvantage when you can spend more than other teams, yet players make less in your town vs other markets, leading to you having to overspend for guys.

Those may be factors for the Leafs, but most Canadian teams suffer from a terminal case of cronyism and terrible management. Getting rid of the cap would not be a boon to any Canadian market outside of Toronto.

Flyers pulled quite a feat off last night, completing their second 10 game losing streak of the season. We’ve played 40 games, less than half a season.

Even more fun, we only have 19 losses.

                  In regulation. 8 OTL/SOL.

                  Loser point is right...

All that just to probably watch Buffalo get another top pick.

At this point, it takes a certain level of skill to blow ANOTHER 3-1 lead right?

I guess Leafs are taking a page out of...their opponents playbook?

If you can blow 3-1 leads, you can also come back from them too. I mean, who knows more about 3-1 leads?

And Bunting with a hat trick! I'm sure a special game for him too. Even though it's in Detroit, its Hockey Day in Canada on CBC(and Sportsnet...) and his hometown of Scarborough being the site of the outdoor part of the broadcast, and he was featured in the pregame too.

I know it's due to rescheduling, but I like Leafs/Devils in the back to back home and home.

I wonder how many teams/players would prefer back to backs if this ends up being the case. You're both just as tired, facing the same travel, and likely facing each others backups (and strategy comes into play on which game you play your backup, and trying to guess which game the other team might play theirs)

Kaprisov is going to be must-see TV in the ASG.

Speaking of the ASG, McDavid mentioned how he's basically stuck in a box being pegged for the fastest skater every time.

Makes me wonder if the league would ever let guys be in multiple events if they want.

Maybe someone wants to try being the fastest skater while also winning the accuracy comp.
