Add James Reimer to the list of guys refusing to participate in pride night.

This is getting out of hand. And it goes to show hockey culture when the league doesn't seem to care either. It's all just meaningless gestures in their eyes. If they actually cared about these things they'd put more of an effort into it.

Brian Burke (former Leafs GM during Reimers time in Toronto and big supporter of pride) was obviously disappointed in hearing about Reimers decision too.


Reimers defense was basically "I respect other beliefs...I was teammates with Kadri." No joke, he pulled the "I have a friend who is ___" card as to why he's not offensive.

Leafs get their FIRST 5 on 3 all season. Yes, it took almost the entire season to get a single 5 on 3 because refs suck.

NHL tried really hard to push the "hockey is for everyone" narrative and their players and organization has been just "nah"

Exactly. This is proof that guys just fake it to go along with these causes.

Can't imagine what some guys would also want to boycott if not for further backlash. Do some players want to boycott Hockey Fights Cancer? Black History Month?

And just because you don't support LGBT means you're automatically "offensive"? Are you kidding me? That's beyond moronic. Can't force someone to support something, especially if it goes against their faith. How you don't understand that is completely mind boggling to me. It's the cornerstone of a free society. 2019: 2nd overall
2020: 15th overall
2021: 20th overall*
2022: 6th overall**
2023: 17th overall (currently)

*I'm still baffled that the Flames managed to miss the playoffs in the all-Canadian division
**I'm still baffled that the Flames willingly chose to play run-and-gun against the Oilers in the playoffs

a columbus loss wednesday night locks them offically into the top 4. they are currently the only team that controls the lottery odds.

a columbus loss wednesday and Anaheim gaining 1 point the rest of the year or chicago gaining 1 point in game 82 guarentees Columbus a bottom 2 lotto odds.

All Pens had to do was beat the 2 teams trying their hardest to get Bedard and they're in the playoffs. They didn't.

I doubt he's gonna play, but I'd love Crosby in the WHC.

1st pick: Coyotes

Seeding was off, but 6/8 in east and 5/8 in west was right.

Didn't pick Stars, Kraken or Jets in west or Islanders,Devils in east. Based on my mlb picks where 2 teams I didn't pick to even make playoffs went all the way, it's probably Stars vs Devils in finals.

I thought the NHL season ended yesterday when 30/32 teams were playing and some played their last game on Wednesday.

Today is the final day? They should end the season with every team playing the final day.
