Amazon doesn't ship games and electronics outside their base territories. Here in NZ we can't get games from any of the Amazon sites. I'm not sure why.

It'a great that it isn't too much more to import there.

I paid $66.28 so about $3 more than if I went and bought it in the store. It's about $63 for a game here in the states figuring in tax.

Amazon UK refused to ship it for me for whatever reason.

they are sold out. I looked at a NZ site and the total cost was about $95. I want the game but not that bad.

So Milla, how have sales been? How are the prospects of a sequel looking?

Maybe the SARU will reconsider their position in the event of another release. Obviously Rugby Challenge is obviously the best rugby game out there and not being in this time is their loss.

Good question and great point on the SARU as well.

The question has been asked and discussed on their sidhe forums. But it hasn't been answered yet, maybe someone here on OS that is good at looking for those types of things could post a link showing sales numbers in the time frame that RC was released?

The same can be said for the 6 nations members. SARU + all 6 nations teams + minor gameplay changes + minor tweaks in franchise mode = heaven.

HES and MadCatz are great and all, but it would sure be nice if some really wealthy publisher came along and decided to give Sidhe a ton of cash to develop this series further.

Hell, EA should takeover those guys and let them take this engine and go nuts with it. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this game.....

I can't imagine what this team could do with a big budget.

On a side note, there IS stat tracking beyond what I thought. You click a player under manage team and then click that....and THEN if you click a certain stat you get season and ALL TIME stats.....really cool.

I just played about 8 games with the Waratahs and won the last three as the horn sounded.....

My favorite sports game this year.

That's what I was trying to explain earlier in the thread, I explained it poorly hehe. It was because I wasn't near my 360 to check and I forgot exactly how.

If rugby gaming wasn't such a niche genre there would probably be much more budget available, but it is a pretty rarified area of sports gaming, so we just have to utilise the resources we have really well, and strive to reach the standards of the giants with their enormous budgets.

Personally, I really want to see career mode developed into something much more profound and complex, a few more technical aspects of rugby added, and some more club licences.

I really hope we get to make a sequel!

Is there anyway to tone down the accuracy of offloads, I think wild offloads have to be a little more frequent. Perfect pitches while being hit are a bit too frequent

Offload success can be set in the gameplay sliders, found under Help & Options.

While this game is great. There are definitely areas to improve on. Short passes to forwards would be a great addition, as would mauls, 8 man picks, and set plays. An option to turn off the slow-mo camera for kicking would be nice as well.

Having the ability to have the most updated strips and squads would have been nice as well, but all-in-all, a great effort for the first outing. I'd be shocked of you guys didnt do a sequel.
