What kind of clubs does everybody have here?

I have Tommy Armour irons with a Ping G2 3 and 5 woods. I have a really crappy driver cuz I never use one.

Titleist 8.5 degree 975J driver, Titleist 13.5 degree 3 wood. Mizuno T-Zoid Pro 2 iron - P wedge. Cleveland 53 degree rusted gap wedge. Titleist 58 degree vokey wedge and a Scotty Cameron Oil Can Newport style.

Callaway X-18 irons, 3-wood, and Big Bertha driver. Looking at getting a hybrid 3-4, too, but we'll see.

Nike Slingshot irons, a Nike Ignite driver i got on sale, and just my old crappy Knight woods from a 120 buck set of clubs I got to start me on my way. I'm thinking of picking up a rescue wood of some sort, not sure yet though....

I used a two ball for awhile I just couldn't get the feel for long distance putts with it, so it had to go...

I have some BIg Bertha copies that I had made for me 4 or 5 years ago. I just played the other day after taking a 2 year break and now I have the fever again.

hey mgoblue im thinkin about buying some slingshot irons. are they as good as everyone says. the main problem i am havin is getting the ball in the air.

I personally like them a lot...I was getting better ball striking with them, but also I still had to fix my swing a while after getting them...not a cure all, but good clubs. I just wanted a quality set that'd last me years (I had been using a 110 buck full set of irons/woods + bag, not that great)....

do you have a golf place near you that lets you try them out? I tried the slingshots, calloways, bunch of others for free before picking out the nikes. I recommend that (some clubs are better for some people over others), plus it's just fun

just try stuff out, i got to take the 7 iron from all sets i was looking at out to the range, they gave me a small bucket, and i got to hit as much as i wanted...really gave me a feel for what worked for me.

In fact, i'm going tomorrow to look at some rescue woods, i'd like to have that in the bag...

You might also want to try TM Rac HTs or any of the newer Callaway Big Berthas, both are designed to help people who have problems getting it up... ummm you know what I mean
