    I disagree here. Swing back SLOWLY and accelerate through the ball. If you try and keep the same speed throughout your swing, it will be all kinds of messed up. Take it back nice and easy, concentrate on your swing plane, and then accelerate through the ball.

      Fades/slices are caused by either outside-to-inside swing planes or open clubface at impact. Draws/hooks are caused by the opposite, inside to outside swing planes or closed clubface at impact. Generally, a perfect swing plane with an open/closed clubface will result in a push or pull, respectively, but having a good swing plane with poor club alignment is very rare and usually it's a combination of the two factors. Grip and setup are usually the main factors that change the shape of the shot.
