I really have enjoyed the PC version, graphics are great and the difficulty is perfect. My first round, I shot a 78. Next a 75 and the next round another 78. The PGA Tour mode is fun and challenging, I highly reccomend it.

It is more like a sim than the arcade feel of the console version.

games pretty easy, i haven't missed a fairway in the 10 rounds i've played. putting is way too easy, chipping is way too easy, everything is just far too easy. once you get better attributes the game gets harder but honestly for me it's pretty boring, mouse backwards then forwards, then hit esc, adjust for wind, mouse backwards then forwards, then hit esc. it just gets boring real fast, maybe turning off the mouse swing will make it more challenging.

graphics are nice, well the trees and grass look nice, everything else looks pretty run down.

What level are you playing on?I'm playing on expert and i'm better in real life than this game(18 handicap)

I've found that anything less than "Advanced" difficulty level has been too easy with the last two TW games on the PC. Intermediate is a lot easier than Advanced, Rookie is significantly easier than Intermediate, and Novice is just plain brain dead. You can't miss a shot if you try! Advanced and Expert are the only two realistic challenges, IMO, of course.

I averaged 70.3 playing TW 2005 in Advanced with vertical TrueSwing. I could average 62 in intermediate, if I so desired, but it's way too forgiving.

I don't have the PC version of 2006 yet, so I can't positively say that it's exactly the same, in terms of relative difficulty, although I suspect that it is...

I'd like to know how it compares to the 2004 version as well. I enjoy that version, so if it's a step up, I might be tempted to get it.

I can't get it to run. I seem to have developed a virus on my home computer (I'm at work now) and it allows me to load the game but it kicks me back to my desktop everytime I try to play.

Oh, in case you guys don't know. It only runs on Windows 2000 or XP. ME or 98 is not supported.

I'd like to know how it compares to the 2004 version as well. I enjoy that version, so if it's a step up, I might be tempted to get it.

I always liked 04 better than 05.IMO 2006 beats them both hands down.The courses look alive this year.Also I don't know if it's me but the trueswing on expert seems alot harder which is fine with me
