Is anybody else having very slow load times? For me, it's much worse than it ever was on the original Xbox. It's not a big deal when playing a round since it only does it once at the beginning, but the challenges require frequent reloading, and they've become unbearable to do as a result.

Yes. I did it this morning. When you first select XBox Live play, it tells you it has to download an update. If you opt to do so, it downloads and installs the update (very quickly), and then reboots the game. You're good to go then. I XBox Live lobby is identical in appearance on the 360 to the regular XBox version.

I always had what I thought were slow load times on Links 2004. I can honestly see no difference in them on the 360. I agree though... they're slow.

So when you go online and go into the Downloads screen(I think that's what it was?), are the courses available in there?

Actually, yes they are in there. I am currently downloading the O.M Director's Cut course for free. It is taking quite a while to download, but it is downloading. The other 2 courses are $4.99 each like previously.

So I played another game today. Best round I've had. 62. (On intermediate though.)

Flipped between HD and normal. I can say the golfer and the grass/greens look better in 720 but the crowd and foliage is not as sharp. Crowd is almost night of the living deadish...

I had my xbox on a 50" dlp which at the time looked great. After 360 COD2 and Madden the graphics in Links are still good but nothing compared to the new games....

Still love the game though.... By far the best golf game available. Definitely a plus as far as BC goes....

does anyone know if you had downloaded premium content on xbox if you'd have to pay for it again on the 360? i picked this bad boy back up for 6.99 today. had to do it!

Buddy, I see you're in Durham, NC... home of my beloved Duke Blue Devils! I'm one of the few Duke fans who is just as passionate about football as basketball (I'm getting therapy for it ). Anyway, if we can avoid any more plagarism incidents, we might be able to salvage a 1-11 season!

I hate this happened with Asack... I was really curious to see what he could do at QB this year, he showed me a lot as a freshman last year. I hope he's able to learn from this and come back strong next year. He was probably worth a couple more wins, IMO. The whole team is having to restructure because of his suspension. We are going to be hurting worse than ever at QB this year

I haven't picked up on this, but I've really had very limited time with it due to my work schedule this week. I'll pay close attention to this in my 15 minutes of leisure time with it tomorrow. I'll be able to give it a good going over come Friday afternoon though...

I can't stand DUKE!!!! from their students to their teams they make me sick. UNC for life baby. Enjoy another miserable football season! I actually have tickets to the Richmond/Duke game, I might go just to root for the 1AA squad!
