Re: IGN 360 Review
If it happens once, I will be leery because I have had this happen in the PC version on Expert but it happens so rarely that I know it is not scripted. If it happens all the time on the 360 version, then I don't think it takes a rocket scientist to figure out the game is dead from a difficulty standpoint....PC / Xbox One X

Re: IGN 360 Review
This is where I have to disagree about 06. I didn't add points to any attribute other than power and I still saw way too many hole-ins on chip shots and irons.Comment

Re: IGN 360 Review
Especially when the 360 version last year was probably a better at being a golf game than any of the current-gen versions. It's problem wasn't really how it played, it was how stripped down it was, which really wasn't anything out of the ordinary for those first few 360 sports games.Comment

Re: IGN 360 Review
With all do respect, you're here to promote Tiger. I don't know the current term when a company sends out a forum poster to promote their products but let's call a spade a spade.
Yes, you could stop applying attributes but that still wasn't enough. Tiger was about nothing more than arcade golf. The 360 version changes this a bit but last year's version was too barebones to judge.
I think its foolish that people don't "vote" with their money. I'm not going to buy Tiger, because the team hasn't proved that they can get it right on the console. If they can great, I'll buy it. I've been good this year not to support bad games.
Madden 360 - rent
Madden XB - buy
NCAA 360 - rent
NCAA XB - rented, then a must have.
FIFA 360 - rent
FIFA XB - buy.
(I had no idea I was buying more XB games until I posted this message. Completely unintentional.)
I wish more in both DSP and OS communities would not just shell out 60 bucks just to get a game that unproven such as Tiger. It would go a long way to send a company a message through sales.

The PGA deserves all the credit for this as the new format allows for a playoffs and Super Bowl-like atmosphere at the end of each season. This carries right over into Tiger 07.PC / Xbox One X

Re: IGN 360 Review
Might want to do a bit more research before you make such inaccurate claims...

I just want to know if my buddy and I can make our own golfers and do this Season mode simultaneously. If so, I'll probably pick the game up. If not, I'll probably pass.Originally Posted by Briman123

LOL they have said that for the last four years. EA has very little if any creditability IMO. One thing I have learned with EA and the 360 it's RENT first no matter how good they say it is. It's a shame but I just don't believe what they tell us. I would never in my wildest dreams have thought fatigue would be left out of a football game. I would love to have been a fly on the wall why they thought that was a good Idea.Comment

(9.0 Game-play
Finally, course management. True Aiming is such a sweet, simple solution you wonder why EA didn't think of it before. And after hours on the range, you'll shoot a 63, just like the old days).
If after a few hours we will be shooting in the low 60's how much harder can it be?Comment

Re: IGN 360 Review
How harder? Easy, last year, many were shooting low fifties, so low sixties is actually harder eheh
Seriously, since the stats max out at 110%, I'm not surprised if scores regularly hit low 60%. I don't like it, but I'm not surprised. I guess I'll just have to resort to that little ol' thing called "control" and limit myself at 100%, then hopefully that will mean mid to high 60's, which I think would be fair if I put in dozens of hours.
But realistic or arcade, I'm not afraid to say it: I've had fun playing past Xbox Tiger Woods golf games. And "fun" my friends, at the end of the day, is all that matters!Comment
