Can anybody out there give me the idiot guide to doing this and please make it simple before my ADD kicks in. I remember doing it for links but I was younger and smarter back in those days.
It is completely different than Links and more complicated. There are tons of tutorials on this subject at TWC....

Have you played 07 because any rough I've had to deal affects my shot greatly. If you mean the lie slopewise (like downhill or on a angle) then maybe you have a point but I certainly wouldn't call it a game killer. Using the mouse alone to swing easily trumps using any gamepad on a console version. It just lacks feel and is disconnected with a joystick not to mention easy.

Not talking about the rough. That piece works. I am talking about sidehill lies having NO impact on ball flight. I play Expert in the PC version and the lack of impact from sidehill lies is not a game-killer per se, but it diminishes the challenge of the game and with the 360 version being so go in the gameplay, the PC version is going to collect dust until it is patched for this and other issues and also when they offer the CA and LC that should enable prior version courses to look right and play in 07. THEN the game should be worth playing again, IMHO.

          Go to

This is an installer utility that makes it a little easier than EA's. It says 2004 but has worked up to the 2006 version. Also on this site is a tutorial of how it works. It's located under the FAQ/Help section and it's called Jorgens guide.Remember also to download all libraries associated with a new course.
