I think he's referring to short shots from about 60 yards in. It doesn't matter if you are in the deep rough, weeds, or fairway, you can usually hit it pretty close to the hole.Comment

After re-reading his statement, I guess I can see where he is coming from. However, I do see lie effects and the different types of lies do affect how the ball behaves.PC / Xbox One X

Yeah, I am not speaking with regards to the tee shot. I agree, if you hit the tee shot in the weeds you have removed PAR. I am speaking of missing the second shot into the green and missing it bad on a steep hill with high grass... I know when the CPU does this against me I don't feel like I have even picked up a half a stroke. In fact, I would rather see the CPU trickle the ball onto the green for a long putt then have a chip shot out of the weeds. They will get up and down almost every time out of the weeds but long putts can result in 3 putts. Just seems wrong to me...Comment
