As it should have been. Too bad they didn't just scrap it before it ever existed. Has anyone here seen the Kevin Smith speech/Q&A about how he almost made a Superman movie but ultimately couldn't deal with the producer's demands? It's a little long but worth the watch IMO. Yes BigBerthaEA, you are correct in that most of the arcade-like BS found in previous versions of the game is now gone. Unfortunately I think for a lot of people that stuff was so over the top that EA is going to have do a lot more than they would have to otherwise to live it down. The 360 game is good, at least I think so, but the series still has a lot of the stink of previous versions surrounding it.

Both. Might not have made it to the PC version til 2004, but trust me when I say it was roundly and loudly criticized during beta testing in any version that it showed up in....

That makes sense as I think it was for TW2004 and I remember the breaking dancing and the huge fro's. That was a big turn off for me as well.

TW2003 was the last serious effort by EA.

I think the 360 version has the potential to eliminate a great deal of the stench from previous versions as I am finding it to be the best looking and playing Golf game I have ever experienced....but it can be so much better and if EA makes the kind of strides with TW08 that they made from 06 to 07, this game is going to keep improving.
