In many ways, TW07 for the 360 is more challenging to me than Links 2003...I was scoring sub-60 rounds pretty religiously using the RTS swing when it first came out. Also keep in mind that Links 2003 is likely the last Links you will ever see for the PC. If it was such a great game (and I respect the game a great deal), why will there not be another version of it even after MS sold the rights and license to 2K Sports? Could it be that it catered too much to the hardcore simulation fan and not enough to the casual or average user? I can tell you this, it failed MISERABLY with the average user and if you can't draw that audience your Golf game is NOT going to be successful. TW07 does a pretty damn good job of offering both the casual user and the hardcore simulation users what they are looking for. To me, TOUR Pro in TW07 is far more of a challenge than Links for PC is on even the most challenging mode.....
I'n sorry TW 07 360 is still 2 easy

Oh, I agree that Tiger is trying to cater to both sides but it's frustrating that they're pulling a typical EA move and refusing to give the hardcore gamers the options and tweaks necessary to make it play even more like a sim. Is it really that hard to have a fixed camera option? Is it really that hard to have an option allowing cut scenes to be shut off? Why do I have to reselect the camera I want after every shot instead of selecting it to be the default on one of the poorly constructed menus? Why are there no sliders like in pretty much every other sports game on the market?
If I want my guy to only hit the ball 280 even with maxed stats (ability shouldn't exist in this manner anyway) then why can't I do that? If I want a guy who only hits the ball 260 off the tee but is a master long iron player, why can't I have that? Golfers aren't at the same skill level across the board. How about some flakiness in skills from round to round? It was in MVP, I know somebody over there knew how to code it. Why can't I control my trajectory without drastically altering my spin? Guess what, you can hit the ball low and spin it too. How about a natural shot type, JN6 had this feature seven years ago? Some guys draw the ball well but can't fade it - even Mario Golf had this. This is golf, nobody is good at everything.Comment
