Economics aside, I wonder if EA would ever pursue a teambuilder-like model for course creation? It seems the trend is moving towards more web-console integration as they are demonstrating with NCAA football. I realize that course creation is much more complicated than create-a-team, but it seems the logical way to go. I could envision a web-based course creator that allows users to build, upload, and share courses just like teambuilder allows with teams.

Re: Tiger Woods 10 Golf Courses?
For a game with such realistic courses a course creator on a console without a mouse and keyboard would probably be either a stripped down disaster or simply to tedious to use. Divotmaker is dead right. I could see it working for a more cartoony game maybe but nothing as detailed as Hot Shots (and obviously still needing a hard drive). If you think a course creator could function on a console for a game like Tiger Woods I question whether or not you've ever used one and actually completed a course.Comment

Re: Tiger Woods 10 Golf Courses?
I didn't pay for any DLC last year and I doubt I will this year unless they make it cheaper. What killed me is that when they did deal of the weak they only offered one of the two courses at half price. I was like c'mon....Comment

Re: Tiger Woods 10 Golf Courses?
I think they just put it up there today. Maybe a small amount of people will have the game today with a larger group tomorrow. I preordered so will have the code for Spyglass but the DLC price point is disappointing.Comment

Re: Tiger Woods 10 Golf Courses?
Wow what a suprise about the price for DLC courses. Yes my sarcasm is dripping.
I wanna shoot the 1st person whoever paid for DLC because since then it's been a license to print money for developers.Last edited by Seymour Scagnetti; 06-08-2009, 10:52 AM.Comment

Re: Tiger Woods 10 Golf Courses?
This DLC situation is exactly what makes the Wii an even more attractive option. You get all 27 courses in the box, along with the MotionPlus accessory for the same price as the PS3/360 version.
At this rate, to get the same number of courses on the PS3/360 version, you'd have to drop around $50 EXTRA, and that's only assuming that all of the extra courses available for the Wii will even be made available.Comment

I think the Motion+ is going to retail for $20 too on its own. I would be buying it no matter what so it looks like Tiger is just $40 this year. Decision made.Comment

Re: Tiger Woods 10 Golf Courses?
If Banff Springs and Spyglass are both DLC courses for PS3, how come only Spyglass is available on PSN?
Can someone verify Banff Springs is not apart of the default courses on PS3? Because it's not available for download, at least not at this point.
I've played Banff a lot, just a 4 hour drive from here. It's the nicest course I've ever played with mountain scenery and elevated tees.Comment
