This is what I'm dying to know.

I just want to know if you can browse the full leaderboard during tournaments instead of just seeing the top few, if the game still features ridiculous rubberband AI and if tee times are logical, as in teeing off early in the day if you just make the cut, or last if you're in the lead.

What is the consensus for setting up Opponent Difficulty? All Expert Power:100 Accuracy:100 Recovery:100 ?? I was thinking P-100 A-85 -Recovery 75 after playing the back 9 at St Andrews and watching Adam Scott shoot 30 with 3 chip ins...

Can someone please check if 2 people can play career mode at the same time. This was one of last year's biggest failings. If you had more than one person in the house who wanted to play, you had to just do a quick play round and you both couldn't work on career at the same time. Even worse was that this feature was included on both the 360 and PS3.

Is there a club tuner/driving range on the WII? Also Trueview vertical or horizontal>?
You can't use the tuner/Driving range if you are using the Tour Mode swing setting I had to lower to Advance so I could do some testing.

does the club tuner save when you switch to tour pro?

Tigers Career mode still is sub-par on the Wii.

Stats, I love stats and the game won't give them to me. You get one page of stats which is basic information about all of your rounds, there are no stats for each course. While I'm playing I would like to know my longest drive on each hole and my average score and closest to the pin and I haven' seen any of that. Links had that in 2004.

Leaderboards in a tournament, just the top 5 and you, there is no sorting or viewing what the other golfers scored, it's just lazy and pathetic they can't do better than that.
I tried one tournament but didn't make the cut but I'm sure you will play the last grouping as always.

The game plays great but they are missing on little touches that I think should be there. Hot Shots Golf on the PSP has better stats than this console game and I am upset again I wish I could ask or talk to a developer about this, they add features but have some of the core things missing.

I wouldn't call them little touches. That's a complete game killer for me. I bought the Wii game last year and trust me it gets boring very fast with such a goofy and shallow career mode. Since online is a pain with the Wii there really isn't much to do with the game once the novelty with motion+ wears off. I predict you will be trading in this game in by August at the latest.

Totally inexcusable. I would rather have half the course with a much better season mode. I guess I'll be keeping my PS3 version and wait for the Move.

Thanks, I will add my concerns there but it frustrates me that it isn't in there to begin with. These are basic things that should be included and they are not so it is frustrating.

100% agree with you. I purchased TW10 right after I read the glowing reviews last year. Those "reviews" failed to mention what crap the career mode was. Like you I got bored quickly. I guess they figure all Wii users are the casual crowd and thus focused on enhancing disc golf rather than fixing a broken career mode. Oh well, I guess I'll buy the PS3 version. Have they confirmed it will definitely work with the Move?

There is also a feedback feature in all console versions of TW11 this year in case you don't want to go to the EA Tiger forums.

Re: Where are the Wii impressions.

Well I finally made it through to the 2nd round of a tournament, T50, and yep I am in the last round of players, how unrealistic is this, I know that it's the Wii version but come on and be true to the sport. I was on even par through the first 6 holes and the leader was -1. I ended up +13 and the leader was +3 so once again rubber band scoring. I know both of these were fixed last year in the other console versions so I'm not sure if there are different developers but if so then they need to talk.

I'm sorry to be complaining so much but I really like the swing mechanics and I do think it's the superior version but to have these flaws I just can't comprehend.

If I am wrong on any of these comments please let me know....

No, you're dead on. I personally am tired of playing golf games using buttons and analogue sticks. The first time I heard of the Wii my first thought was, "wow, golf games are going to be fun on that".

And they are fun. The swing mechanics are better than anything I've ever seen in any golf game ever. I enjoy playing 18 holes. I find it fun and challenging. But because of the career mode issues, that's the extent of the fun I have with this game.

Re: Where are the Wii impressions.

Well, I certainly agree that the career mode is extremely problematic on the Wii, no question about it. But to me, there's a tension between the Wii's vastly improved realism in gameplay and the concept of a career mode in general.

What I mean by this is that the Wii version allows you to play golf in a much more realistic fashion than analog sticks and mouse clicks can provide. This is especially true this year, with the two increased difficulty modes and the first-person TruView mode. Now, if you take advantage of this added realism (and the game does it's job properly in making it as close to real golf as possible) then the career mode is kind of pointless anyway, because it would be extremely difficult to compete anyway.

So, for the most part, you can either play the Wii version with easier settings and assists that make it as unrealistic as the other versions, or you can treat it more like a golf simulator which brings you as close as you can get to playing these courses in real life. But unless you are a great golfer or just get really good at the game, the career mode is not going to me of much use anyway.

That's just my take on it. For my part, I treat the Wii version of Tiger Woods differently than any other type of sports game. I'm playing the game in a fashion such that shooting 85 at Liberty National will be a real challenge for me, and under those circumstances, the career mode would just be an exercise in frustration anyway. So as much as I agree that the career mode should absolutely be improved, it doesn't necessarily have to ruin the game. It just depends on how you plan to approach it.

I agree with that for this year because last year wasn't that tough but I will just simply wait for the PS3 Move where I get the best of both worlds and better graphics and stat tracking albeit less courses but 17 courses should be enough to annoy the hell out of me when I can't break 90. For people who don't want to play true to life but still wanna actually swing a better career mode would have been nice after the complaints last year because when both the PS3 and Xbox incorporate motion control then no one will have a reason to buy the Wii version with it so poorly implemented compared to the other 2 versions.
