Unfortunately I don't at this time, but I sincerely hope they learned from their mistakes with the initial pricing of DLC courses from TW11 and they come out with pricing similar to their discounted and bundled pricing a couple of months after 11 shipped....PC / Xbox One X

Re: List of DLC courses.
I have always thought that one of the big strengths of TW was the good selection of courses. To me, it makes it a whole lot more interesting to watch a tournament on tv when I have at least video golfed the course. And, although I like the additions of some of the disc courses -- Augusta, Atlanta AC, TPC San Antonio, Royal Melbourne -- I do not like losing such big name courses like Firestone, Bay Hill, Cog Hill and Wentwoth, all of which host big name tournaments televised EVERY year.
And, then they bring in unheard of courses like Costa Navarino, Els Club and keep others such as Banff, Blackwolf, Wolf Creek ... all of which have never hosted a PGA Tour event or major men's championship on tv. I wonder how much some of these courses paid EA to get in the game?Comment

Has anyone read if most courses will be locked at the start of the game again this year?Comment

Re: List of DLC courses.
But, there are still plenty of PGA Tour courses that they could probably get for cheap or for next to nothing. PGA National comes to mind where the Honda Classic was just held. The many TPC courses could likely be had for nothing. Even some of the Nationwide courses. These courses are all owned or controlled by the PGA or PGA Tour. But, EA continues to put courses in that don't even host big pro tournaments. If EA would speak to the issue and explain, it would surely help, but without that one is left to wonder about the competence of those making these decisions.Comment

Re: List of DLC courses.
How do you know this? Do you have any insight into what goes into the selection of a course as well as the time and resources it takes to develop one for the game? I do because I have worked with EA on their courses for past versions of TW. It is extremely expensive to laser-scan and GPS each course and the man-hours needed to take that data and create each course for the game. I don't disagree with your argument they should be including more PGA courses, but I think their course decisions are based upon bringing in new courses than many have not played even if they aren't PGA TOUR stops and bringing in more international courses like the Els course in Dubai to give the course selection a more international flavor as this game is released globally.
Hmmm, ... what sounds better though if you're an EA guy making a course: a trip to the Greek Aisles, Dubai, .... or driving a few miles to Palm Beach.
If they want a more international flavor, I'm all for that. How about some courses they show on tv from Sweden or France or Mexico ... places where actual gamers are from that actually play TW.Comment

Re: List of DLC courses.
And, btw ... Unless EA was lying at their own forum, they have only laser scanned one course -- Augusta. And, this was the first and only course to date that they have laser scanned. None of the other courses were laser scanned. That's what they said.
Or, did you in your lofty position of working with them in the last few years laser scan courses?Comment

As to your last unnecessary personal shot, I have worked with EA on the following courses beginning in 2004:
Colonial Country Club
TPC Avenel
Pinehurst #2
Bethpage Black
Pebble Beach
Sherwood Country Club
I have not worked on any further courses since 2006 as they have moved on to more detailed and precise course data gathering processes such as laser-scanning of which I have no experience with. So next time you feel the need to attack me, why not ask what experience I have had with EA on a particular subject before you take personal pot shots.....PC / Xbox One X

Re: List of DLC courses.
Hmm, ... Well I saw where you posted at the EA forum when someone recently asked this question that you "thought you read in an ESPN article" that they had laser scanned courses in the past and that the new courses In this version were laser scanned. It didn't sound as if it was something that someone who was "in the know" and who worked with EA would post. Why would you have to reference an ESPN article?
I'd suggest you read your own forum better, as about a month or more ago one of the actual developers stated in response to this same type of question that the only course laser scanned was Augusta. The EA developer said they were planning on doing more of it in the future.Comment

The article documented how EA had used laser-scanning/mapping technology for courses. It is obvious that they have improved on the process which is why they say that Augusta is the first, because it is the first to use the newer technology. I know what the article said and I know what EA has told me personally about how they have been recreating courses. If you want to make a Federal case out of it, go ahead. I know what I have read and I know what I have heard. Believe whatever you wish as I am not going to argue with someone who does not have the first clue about the process that EA goes through to develop courses.....PC / Xbox One X
