    Re: OUTRAGE over DLC courses?

People need to stop worrying about why companies do things, and worry about what they do themselves.

I bought the DLC courses for a total of $50 ($3.33 / each). That's steep. Instead of buying extra courses I could have bought 2k baseball which was on sale for $50. That's significant.

I bought the courses though, as I know I will be putting many hours into TW12. Today I played for a few hours already.

Honestly I'll gladly pay $3.33 each instead of $10 or even $5 each. I figure if I play almost every DLC course 4-5 times I can still get a good bang for the buck. That's a lot of hours of gameplay.

I have no problem with those who feel they won't get the value out of it. That's why DLC is optional.

I agree the DLC, if broken down per course cost, is a lot better than it used to be, but I agree it is frustrating to shell out aprox $110 for a game. Im glad it doesnt effect the career mode though. Im just worried with all this Day 1 download content and microtransactions that EA has been doing that when NCAA Football 12 or Madden 12 come out they will start you with 1 conference and you have to pay for the others. Lol

i'm sure this has been stated before - but i think some people like paying $100 (including dlc) for a game they truly love. the game is enjoyable - and not lacking ANYTHING - for the standard $60...

i think EA has done it right - especially with the huge bundle that allows you to buy several courses at once for (what i think is...) a reasonable price...

everyone needs to stop getting their tits in an uproar like someone stole your cookies. DLC is here, and so are the shady practices, weather you like it or not.

when people say, vote with your wallet, that only works if a large majority does. plus, they LOWERED the price of the DLC from tiger woods past.

while im not fond of it, ill buy it. just like most people. they dont like it, but what are they gonna do??

i refused to pay $15 for the COD map pack, guess what? Activision didnt miss me one bit.

pay up or shut up. thats the way of the DLC. and i dont like it, but hey, i dont like a lot of stuff and no one changes it for me.

ps i know i misused the spelling of weather above.
pss i added nothing to this conversation.
psss ice beer is to blame

I actually didn't mind it because I got the game as a gift -- but the price is kind of ridiculous.

All that being said, I've played the CRAP out of this game since I got it this weekend and am already digging the course variety that the DLC adds.

Note, I only got the Eagle Pack and not the Birdie Pack.
