Re: Tiger Woods 2004 PC Question?

it is definitely a challenge in the PC version. Shooting in the 50s, (unless you are at FRONT tees, no wind, easy pins) is pretty much UNHEARD of. Rounds in the mid-60s are excellent rounds. Myself I average over par. dbdynsty has been shooting > 100 for 18 holes in some of our tournaments. (Sorry to use you as this particular example Scott)

Put the settings to Advanced or Expert, and then use Pro or Back tees, with some wind, and Dry or very dry greens... and watch out. You'll have trouble staying near par. Even the "moderate" pin placements seem a bit unfair on Bethpage Black.

Anyone that has the PC version as well as the console version how similiar is the basic game (not the difficulty)?

Does it have all the options the console version has as far as the pro shops, world tour, and how much different is career (season) mode?

I liked the difficulty of the PC version last year but the online portion got old since people I played against started abandoning it a month or so after I got it.

Walleye, it probably got abandoned last year because EASO was only free for 60 days. This year there is a gamecard inside the box that gets you 1 full year free.

I'll probably take breaks from playing, but I know that next year I'll get golf fever and want to play again, especially around the majors. This game is a lot better than I expected, been a while since I played PC golf
