Re: Worth getting if I have 03?
Hmm I'm thinking you are planning on getting this for the Xbox or PS2.
I have only played a handful of rounds for the Xbox as I'm getting all my gaming in with the PC version. I rented the Xbox as I know it's not going to keep my interest. If you like the fact that there's a lot of accomplish in beating tour pros, tournaments and sponderships then get the game. I think you'll like 04 and get good use out of it. It's not changed drastically but it has moved a "click" toward the sim aspect.
Above all I think a rental would be in order. If there's any doubt rent it atleast that's 6 down the drain instead of 50. -

Re: Worth getting if I have 03?
Meatloaf,
its definitely worth it for the ability to compete in the PGA Tour Season, with the 4 Majors in there, and like JRod said, they tweaked the gameplay to where the ball rolls truer this year, added a chip shot etc........a definite upgrade
bottom line: if you got what you wanted out of TW03, this will keep you busy and entertained above and beyond that version......if not, then go the rent route, always a safe playComment

Well that sounds good an d all but that's a little blown out of proportion. You get a PGA Tour Season with 14 courses or about that many. So what ends up happening is that you play the courses over and over again instead of having a PGA tour season. And the majors, it's not like you get the masters, the US Open, British and PGA. It allows you to call these tournaments a majors but play the US Open at TPC Scottsdale.
Yes there is a little bit of a mini tour there but I just wanted to clarify that statement a bit. Sounds good on paper but there's just not enough courses to simulate a full PGA schedule.Comment

do they at least make the rough pretty high and the wind nasty on the courses for the 'majors'? I haven't tried the tour mode yet on PC. I'd hope that the courses would play a lot tougher for these tournaments, so the scores wouldn't be too low.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment
