for the people who can buy clothes, are you playing the console version? I'm a bit of a ways into the Career on the PC mode, and I keep unlocking clothes, but I can just choose any shirt I want, I don't pay for them. I think the PC's a little different, not totally sure

Yep, was just about to say the same thing. I've been confused because I keep hearing you have to buy this or that, but in the PC version it doesn't seem like you have to buy any clothes, you just earn them. It seems like there are all sorts of differences between PC and console.

                  Re: Attributes or Underwear?

With my first golfer I went for attributes, but then I ended up with a golfer that was too good. I won the first tour event by 15 strokes and that was with making mistakes over the course of four rounds that probably cost me another 10-15 strokes. That's with a Power of 85 and everything else at 75.

So I decided to start a new golfer and only boost the Power rating, as Slugox and I were discussing in the other thread (see the one about making TW more challenging). Now I'm going to only boost Power up to 65 (75 with full clothes/equipment modifiers) and leave everything else at 10 (20 with full clothes/equipment modifiers). That should make it more challenging, though I haven't yet tried a PGA Tour event with this new golfer.

The upside is that without spending the money to boost the other attributes I can buy lots of cool clothes and equipment. In the console version there are several shirts and such that you already own and can choose between, but then there are a lot of others you can purchase or earn through sponsorships and wins.

That reminds me of something I'd like to see added for next year. As far as I can tell, there's no way to just look at the items you own, or just look at the items that are new. I wish there was a way to sort the items rather than having to scroll all the way through them to find what you have or see what's new.
