Yep, I in fact have played Links 2004. And it is not a sim. It's direct competition for Tiger Woods on the console. Outside of Outlaw Golf 2, which is pretty much dead now, Links is the only arcade-sim title that's direct competition for Tiger. And it's a fun game. It's just not as good as TW. Not remotely.

Well online for the Xbox makes it better immediately. Then the fact that you can play foursomes online, compete in tournaments on XSN, and voice chat with your competitors makes it awfully hard for Xbox users to stick with Tiger Woods, even if the core game is not as good as Tiger Woods.

Please give us some details why Links isn't very good. You could help a lot of people who are interested in this game and want to compare it to Tiger.
