Has anyone received a beta copy yet? Would be nice to see some early impressions.

nlgaming.com Gave it a score of 90. The mix of scores are puzzling to me. I wonder if other review sites or mags are trying to compare Links too much to Tiger and all the options and customizations it has to offer. I am still getting this game.

I'm getting it also regardless of the reviews.

The only thing that concerns me is the control aspect of the Analog controller.
Is it "real time" as TW?

I first experienced the analog swing in PGA Championship 2000 which was excellent IMO. I understand the developers of that game (Headgate Studios I believe) now handle TW for EA and that they have taken their swing model to that game.

While I like TW 2004 I do not appreciate the average (for Xbox) graphics nor the fuss made about all the bells and whistles and the easy gameplay.

Golf is about the only video game in which I want strict realism, probably because it's the only game that I can actually go out and play where the pros play.

I was wondering does anyone know any info on Links analog swing? Was it in any versions of a Links before?

Can you turn off the swing aid that shows you power so you can base it on the characters backswing distance alone?

Last years version had a real time swing but being that it was on a PC it was done with a mouse.
