That's good. Hopefully they update that review to correct that information because that would've been horrible if true.

They were also DLC last year so I wouldn't be surprised if they were this year as well.

Re: Do we know dlc pricing yet?

On the Xbox Marketplace, it looks like courses cost 400 MS Points each. The exception is that the PGA National course costs 560 points.

There is a 5-course pack that is 1600 points, a 6-course pack that is 1920 points and an 11-course pack that is 3200 points.

Five course pack includes: Spyglass Hill Golf Course, TPC at San Antonio, Liberty National Golf Club, Banff Springs Golf Course, and Greek Isles (Fantasy).

Six course pack includes: Waialae Country Club, Atlanta Athletic Club, River Course at Blackwolf Run, Costa Navarino, Predator (Fantasy), and Highlands (Fantasy)

11 course pack includes: Spyglass Hill Golf Course, TPC at San Antonio, Liberty National Golf Club, Banff Springs Golf Course, Greek Isles (Fantasy), Waialae Country Club, Atlanta Athletic Club, River Course at Blackwolf Run, Costa Navarino, Predator (Fantasy), and Highlands (Fantasy).

I was just looking at those.

        Ouch.

$5 per course or $7 for that PGA National course? That better be one hell of a course for that price.

Those prices are insane, especially considering they're most likely going to try to sell them to you again next year (which is my biggest pet peeve... I guess I'm just spoiled as a Harmonix fan).

Also of note...you can buy the manufacturer sponsorships through the marketplace as well. It's like last year - buying the sponsorship gives you level 4 status and all the equipment. Here are the costs, in MS Points:

          Cleveland - 240 points
          Nike - 560
          EA Sports - 240
          Callaway - 320
          TaylorMade - 320
          PING - 240

Does anyone know if the season pass holders get a 20% discount on the DLC courses?

Ok, so basically I have to buy the collector's edition for $70 plus $40 for the 11 dlc courses which would give me most of the courses (minus pre-order bonuses)? Yikes.

I have a $60 credit at Best Buy so I guess I'll still do it for the collector's edition. Not sure on the DLC yet.

Incorrect. If you have the CE, the 5 courses are on disc. If you want everything, you need to also purchase the 11 course pack, and the 3 preorder courses separately

I sure wish they wouldn't force you to buy fantasy courses when you buy the DLC bundles. I hardly play them and there a waste of time. Heard that TPC River Highlands is the bonus course. Its new to the Tiger series on the console, but I do remember it on the old PGA Tour Golf series on the Genesis. Also it looks like you can earn coins and spend 18000 to get unlimited rounds, which I think is cool. Just checked my email and got my code for Doral. Gotta get home and play the back nine at PGA National against Zach Johnson. Got my collectors edition today. Also looking forward to the CC tournaments.

I'm not a season ticket member so I can't confirm but it's mentioned in a few spots in the menus so it would seem that yes, you do.

I agree on the fantasy courses. They should be their own separate pack. They are kind of a waste of space and money for many of us, especially since they are the same ones over and over.
