Finished Round 3 at Torrey Pines and shot +2. Yesterday I had +15 (yikes) and +5 so it is an improvement. I had a triple bogey at 17 because of the hard breaks and I couldn't get any putt close so that destroyed my chance at an under par round (was Even until the 17th).

Just finished off round 4 of Torrey and had: -3, -3, -8, -4 for a total of -18.

WAY better than I thought I would do...looks like I will finish 3rd. Though is there any point to the prize money? Do you win coins if you finish in the top?

I'm thinking the prize money might be coins. I had a lot of extra coins when i got online today and don't know where they came from.

Same here, I had over 10k coins when I logged in today...I remember having around 3k yesterday...so 7k coins came from SOMEWHERE...

Looks like I am all caught up on tournaments.

Just finished Crooked Stick and currently 2nd with a -15.

Dominick, you have me beat by a lousy 12 tie breaker points!!!

Man, you just wouldn't believe how much difference using an OLD controller makes. I have been using one of my newer controllers and the analog sticks are fairly stiff. So I switched to one that is about 4 years old and is pretty loose and it has made all the difference in the WORLD when I need to be accurate and on putting.

By the way, we are now ranked 39th....we just keep climbing!

Well I finished the weekly tournament and shot a +3 in the final round to go with my +15, +5, and +2. After thre train wreck of a first round I settled down and made some progress. A lot of my approach shots go way short because I constantly have an underswing so I will have to try and improve that somehow. Even with all of the frustrations I actually am having a lot of fun.

The country club aspect of the game has made me a real believer and it doesn't hurt that no one here is trying to make the less skilled players feel like they don't belong.

Yeah the one thing I will not tolerate out of anyone in the country club is disrespecting another club member about their skill. Yeah we all talk trash when we are playing head to head and it's close and someone misses a shot, but those guys that shoot +15 can do just as much to help the club advance as those guys that shoot -15.

EA really got it right with the CC's....like you said, EVERYONE can contribute.

I have had a couple of good games recently, but I know once we switch off putt preview, I will go back to probably even or plus par....which is fine. I am actually looking forward to seeing how I do without it on (keeping my career games sort of easy until I master all courses).

Honestly, in the past, while I love TW golf games...I have NEVER maxed my golfers attributes...I usually get bored. But with the CC, I can see myself playing this for a LONG time!

Sort of like with NCAA Football. I buy it EVERY year and up until they put in online dynasty's, I was done with it before the summer ended. But now, I have a great group of guys that I play NCAA with every year and our OD didn't end until January.

Having good, honest, non cheesing people to play with makes ALL the difference in the world....

I some how got screwed on the weekly at Torry Pines, it froze loading on the back nine in the 2nd round. When I went back into the game I was locked out of the last 3 rounds.

Shot a +5 for the 3/31 Daily (East Lake Golf Club) which pretty much fits into my skill level for right now. Once I get the kinks worked out of my short game I can at least try to be consistent with getting Even par.
