Hard to explain in words, but I'm somewhere between 1 and 1 1/2 seconds on a full swing from takeaway to impact - I never had it timed exactly. I bring the club through pretty fast (and often off center, which is why I don't shoot well in real life ). It's actually been awhile since I've been out on a real golf course, though I do plan on hitting the real links later this month.

On Tour Pro, now that I've figured out what my real life swing translates to in the game, I haven't really needed to change much about it. I do have mis-hits, most of them off to the left because I pull up too soon. But as long as I'm not pulling up, I'm hitting pretty straight. Through those first two tournaments in career mode I'm hitting around 70% FIR, which I don't think is too bad considering the 40 accuracy.

I'm curious to see just how much my game improves as I level up my golfer. But Tour Pro definitely seems like a sweet spot for now as far as difficulty goes.

Ok so I have created a new weekly tournament for the controller people that will start after the current tournament is over. Additionally for the move people I created a daily at Pebble Beach that will start the day after the weekly tournament ends and will create a few more dailies for people to try out, I figure we can rotate the weeklies unless we figure out that most everyone has the move. I wish they would allow both, but it appears that it won't. Bad design decision I think. Should allow both.

Oops, didn't see that the weekly was for Pebble Beach. Their website is a little funky. Can't cancel the dailies once they are scheduled.

You are never going to believe this:

As I was reading your responses, I decided to "lab" a little. Most of my gameplay takes place after work when I have decompressed. And I figured out my issue - SHOES.

I never wear shoes at home. Normally just socks. Today I was still wearing my sneakers from running, and picked up the Move. Went to the Practice Facility, and started driving straight and over swinging with Fast tempo. I couldn't figure it out. Then I realized the grip I had with my sneakers on! It allowed me to bring the club through faster, and keep my swing "quieter" in terms of chaotic movement.

I feel like such a rube. That being said, I am now going to need to get something to put under my shoes, as I plan on tearing through some holes tonight, and don't want to tear the carpet up in the mean time!

As far as I understand there are only 2 ways to join a private cc.

              1) you get the password and join/login using it
              2) you send a request (petition) to join through the game to get accepted.

I'm part of this CC (scobb1972) and I think we're at the 25 man limit. We'd have to start a new CC to add anyone. I'm sure sportsnutz can confirm that.

Yes, the next weekly is for controllers. I am going to be scheduling move and non-move dailies during that time. Perhaps there can be a consensus at some point as to what control scheme to use. It would be good to get everyone involved in the tournaments.

Yeah it would be great to have pretty much a full field for some of the tourneys. As I have said I am none move only but will play any custom set up but would prefer no meters on but green grids on

Wow, pulled. A +9 out of my butt on the daily at the Els Club. Epic meltdown on a 4 putt for triple bogey and found a water hazard on hole 6 for a double bogey. Couldn't,t seem to recover after that. Just shot a 5 under at Sawgrass in my career mode. Thought i was breaking through. Game is so realistic that way, good rounds and bad rounds.

Yeah i'm exactly the same,I've had a 65 followed by 82.So it's not like when you have a low score you have the game sussed. You really have to be on your game or it's easy to rack up the bogeys.Gonna play the tourney later, will be happy with anything around par. That -6 from mrjondough looks like a winning score to me

Wow, just played my first round in the OS Country Club and wound up +8. Horrible score but I actually enjoyed the challenge! I don't have Move either, so I'd also like to cast a vote for more controller events. Thanks for setting everything up, guys!

Do we have to select controller or Move events? Isn't there an option for "either contol" when creating tournaments?

Pretty sure JohnDough isn't using a Move, and I have played tournaments with him.

There is just two options, either on or off. If it is on, the controller people cannot play on move tournaments.
