There's only been 1 PS3 patch so far.

Bad news everyone. The live weather bug has not been fixed. I just simulated 3 straight rounds at Bethpage and one was cloudy and windy, the 2nd one had a driving rainstorm and the 3rd was sunny and breezy so unless the weather changed dramatically 3 times within 5 minutes then they couldn't be bothered to even patch a simple problem like this.

What a ****ing joke. These guys are now officially the worst devs going. Total disregard for the consumers. And one of these clowns even stated that it is was going to be fixed and still didn't do anything. Its almost like they take pleasure in ****ing with us. After the bug ridden game this year I think next year they are going to see a sales backlash and no one deserves it more than these idiots.

Seyour - While your weather certainly wasn't 'live' was it atleast toned down so that you can play the 3rd and 4th rounds reasonably? I typically don't have a connection available (just for patches) so in my world that's what I'm looking for.

Another frustration: I did hook up to the net to get the patch and thought I'd try the live weather out and had to set up my online pass. It's corrupted and I can't use the feature due to that. Anybody know how to address that?

Seyour - While your weather certainly wasn't 'live' was it atleast toned down so that you can play the 3rd and 4th rounds reasonably? I typically don't have a connection available (just for patches) so in my world that's what I'm looking for.

Nope, the weather is exactly the same as before which is completely unpredictable, nothing's been touched as far as I can tell. And don't worry about not getting the patch. Its basically useless and nothing of importance. In fact some people are saying they are getting more freezes because of it.

With that said it looks like...... hold on, my computer just froze and I had to restart the console.... Many are now reporting multiple freezes after the patch that were not present before. Sounds like fun to me....

These programmers, hands down, have to be the worst and technically inept programmers in video gaming. It would be bad enough if this occurred with a new title but for a yearly franchise to have this many glitches year after year (and not being fixed) is now beyond pathetic, it's downright tragic.

They have set the standard so low that TW14 simply being glitch free should be the selling point next year, never mind any new features.

My PS3 shut off the first time I tried to download the update. The second time, it just worked. We'll see if it changed anything.

It really is a head-scratcher isn't it? The patch comes almost four months into the life of the game. Naturally, folks are thinking we're going to get some sweeping changes with a patch that was this long in the tooth. Then to release it without any notes as to its effect? I'm not sure what it says. There just seems to be a disturbing distancing between the developers and the not only the community, but with the game itself :-/
