The LPGA moves to the state of Texas this week for the playing of the Volunteers of America LPGA Texas Classic. Many may remember last year's exciting finish when Haru Nomura defeated Cristie Kerr in a playoff.

Here are the first round scores. Tournament play was suspended because of darkness and the remainder of the first round will be played Saturday morning. This has now been reduced to a 36 hole tournament.

Here are the scores when the second and final round was halted because of darkness. Some players did not get to tee off. Tournament will start up Sunday morning. The tournament has been cut to 36 holes.

Commissionser Michael Whan and the LPGA announced today the first official team event in LPGA history.

The new Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational will be held at the Midland Country Club, in Midland, Michigan.
