There was no golf on Saturday. The tournament has now been shortened to 54 holes.

The completion of the 2nd round will begin at 7:30AM ET Saturday morning. The 3rd and final round is scheduled to begin at 10:30 AM.

This week the LPGA moves to the state of Michigan for the playing of the LPGA Volvik Championship. This is the first of two tournaments played in Michigan on the LPGA schedule (the Meijer LPGA Classic will be held next month).

This will be year #3 for this tournament. Many of my readers may remember last year's exciting finish when Shanshan Feng, in spite of bogeying 2 of the final 3 holes, held on to beat a charging Minjee Lee and Sung Hyung Park by a single stroke.

Tony what are your thoughts about Nasa Hataoka leading after 2 rounds, then falling out completely. What a tragic turn of events, and will she be able to rebound from this moving forward. Would love your thoughts.

This week the LPGA travels to the state of Alabama for the playing of the U.S. Women's Open Conducted by the USGA. This is the second Major Championship of the 2018 season.
