I don't know if our settings have changed, and I don't really recall what we started with. But I feel like shots are not quite as forgiving for even the slightest miss hits.

But I love it. The more risk/reward and necessity to execute make this game much more fun.

-6 for me at Mission Hills today. Went with the experimental clubs from top to bottom and did surprisingly well. A few missed fairways but no major mis-hits all round. Missed numerous putts on the edge of the cup however.

Gah! So did I! I was on a MISSION to match your -6 and started off well, but then I had a putt or two rim off, and a horrible triple that started with a shot in the drink. I rebounded but couldn't catch you.

Gonna miss the weekly this week as the wife & I will be going house hunting in Virginia Beach. Wish us luck and Happy Shanks to you all!!!

Certainly have to shake the rust off here fellas. After being-1 thru the first 4 holes, I carded bogey on 4 of 5 to close the front here at Mission Hills. Loving the challenge here tho, if your shot isn't perfect you pay for it.

Happy to be hacking it around again in good olé Bushwood with you guys.

Well, part of it might be your time off from it, as I actually followed Rick's original formula pretty close. However, I do little differences here and there, like random wind gusts, mix up difficulty of pin placements, course conditions to alter the ball roll/green speeds, and change up the second cut/rough settings. I try to randomize these things for more variety.

There will be the occasional easier daily thrown in so we can swell our chests a little. LOL

The pin placements were a hoot last night...made for some really challenging approach shots if you want a legit birdie try.

On a side note...that girl Taylor who won on Big Break Mexico on Golf Channel is quite the hottie

It was a tough, but yet again fair rd. I just couldn't get close to the flagstick on any of my approach shots. I did eagle 17 the short par 4 to get back into red numbers

I became slightly human again last night. Finished the round at +2. Oakmont played tough! It was ultimately my putting that did me in. Those breaks once again.

I could tell those pins were tough. I was fighting for red numbers but I bogey'd 1 of the last 4 holes and cemented my black number day.

The pins were tough, but my problem was just my swing was off. I only had 9 FIRs and 8 GIRs for that round, and that won't get you a win.

FLIGHT, seriously great round to get RED. And congrats to Raging Poodle for pulling the win on a tough round at Oakmont, you did some work

That was a tough set up, and I was tied for the lead at -1 through 13 and birdied 4 of the last 5 including a tap in at 18 which is usuallly a tough approach to guage for me. Made some tough par putts and par saves along the way. One of those rounds that was right on the edge of being a bad over par round, but I hung in there and all of a sudden the approaches started homing in on the flag.

Good job Dan on getting it going again, let's hope we get more guys since this is the only game in town until Tiger 16 on PS4/XB1.

Just went Die Hard 3 on Torey Pines. Came back with a vengeance and finished -9, no bogeys, 1 eagle. Really happy to bounce back with that today after yesterday's round.

Yeah you tore it up. I was on my way and doing great with two birds on the first two holes, but then kind of flattened. It was still a fun round though and a nice break. Even Whistling Straits was fun for Rd 1 of the weekly.

My problem right now is that EA's country club website page is all goofy. I could access the club but couldn't add tourneys the past two days, and today it's just kaput; you can't view ANY clubs. It acts like the database is empty. I know the GMs have had occasional problems with this in the past so I'm sure it'll get cleared up but we might not have a daily for Monday.
