+9 on today's daily, wasn't too bad except for one terrible hole (the first par 5 I think) where I was hacking my way up the right side all the way.

The tee shots on 4 and 17 are pretty daunting!

+41 for the CC one round tournament.

I just can NOT hit a draw.

I then started to try and make the ball fade and I actually did get better (switched my golfer to fade after the game).

Just not sure I will ever be able to consistently hit the fairway. I had ONE fairway hit the entire round.

Surprisingly, putting was not OVERLY difficulty for me. I had a couple of 3 and 4 putts, but for the most part, I sank them in 2.

If I can get my driving down...watch out!


*edit* I shot a +42, not a +41...and come on guys, why am I alone at the bottom of the leaderboard?! Surely someone can at least shoot a +20 or better

I was thinking...it is actually interesting so many of us are having trouble in different areas.

I see people saying they are having a rough time with putting and their short game.

Yet, my putting and my short game are decent (was an inch away from two chip ins), but any shot with a wood and I may as well walk 200 yards and throw the ball in the forest....because that is where it is going anyways!

But what this tells me, is the game itself is pretty realistic. If we were ALL having issues with the SAME area, then you might be able to blame the game. But the fact we are all having issues in various areas, just says we as players need to work on those areas.

I have given a lot of crap to EA about Madden and NCAA (I am sure the devs are different for TW), but I think they may have hit the nail on the head with this years Tiger Woods.

I just wish I could figure out how to consistently hit a fade...just not natural for me to pull and push the stick diagonal...

While my putting isn't terrible, the majority of my birdies have been chip ins from just off the green or in a bunker. Have had any many par putts that should have been birdies only missing by inches.

For some reason my approach shots into the green are my Achilles heel. I'm constantly mis****ting just enough to put my self in a bad spot. And not being in position to score.

So what is everyone playing - high fades. draws/etc? I'm finding Fade swing is quite a lot of fun - and my misses are exactly the type of misses I hit IRL. Crazy fun.

Oh, and I think I carded a +21 last night. Greatness...

I've gone with a Power Draw, normal trajectory. I didn't do too well on the Demo with Tiger's fade swing. I'm faring a little better with a draw. Putting is really where I've lost a lot of strokes.

I'd be happy with a +21 tonight, after the way it was going last night. Maybe a night of good rest will knock off about 20 strokes in a round, right?

I play power fade, I tried control fade briefly but didn't really like it. I hit draws too whenever needed, I don't think there is a big risk/penalty when hitting draws with a "fader".

I just cant hit a full shot with perfect speed, no matter how quickly I flick the stick my swing power is always just short of perfect.

Control fade, medium trajectory. I already can't swing at a diagonal for anything, I'd be in the trees a lot more often with a power golfer.

Big smooth whats good. Is there room for one more in the Club? A club aint no fun unless the homie can have some.

I have no idea how the CC thing works but I love golf and love playing with my OS brothers so I hope the bouncers let one more in the club.

Edit: What clubs are allowed to be used?

Send a petition in and you're good, no limit on clubs or attributes, just gotta use your CAG in CC tourneys.

Wouldn't worry about it, just turned in +18 for the first round of the weekly, managed an even 100 earlier on my first Sim round

Medium trajectory fade for my CAG - can't draw it at all consistently, just about getting the hang of the fade swing.

Yes after hitting every tee shot into the rough, and consequently hacking my way up said rough to the green in my 1st round, I maxed recovery before anything else :beer:

When i get home from work this evening i'm going to tinker around with changing the swing stick from the left analog stick to the right. I have a hard time hitting a fade with my left thumb on the Left analog stick. I can hit a draw fairly consistently, but not a fade. I think if i switch to the right analog stick i will probably be able to hit the fade much easier.

Since i'm already somewhat proficient in hitting the draw, hopefully i will still be able to call on that shot when necessary.

I'm also currently a Power player, but i may switch that up to control since i don't know how much of an importance Power is right now when my player is so deficient in the Power, Accuracy and Workability skills.
