Is CC 4-round tournament a "2 try" event? Looks like I am able to play one of four rounds again, the worst one. I'm just wondering is this a bug or a feature. Don't want to play it again if its not meant to be that way...

I noticed it that way for the 1-round tournament too. I just didn't do my second try. It didn't seem right lol

WOOOOOO!!!!!!!

Just shot a -5 in the one-round tournament at Atlanta Athletic. I only had one bogey... put the ball in the water off the tee. Had a pretty good recovery. Got an eagle on the second, so it set the tone.

That's actually the best single round I've had yet in the game

Tandor is on the course right now though... and he was -2 after 7 holes when I finished. He won the first one and looks like he dominated in the 4 round tournament (unless someone else can manage E)

So, I'm not feeling too comfortable right now.

Nice job, Silver. I'd love to see a score like that one day. I just shot a +3 for the daily which is my best round so far by several strokes. Looks like several people came in under par today and Tandor was lighting it up while I was on the course.

I play a high fade. I like the ball to land soft on the greens.

I'm playing a control high draw. I like the added carry and softer landing of the high trajectory.

Also, I play with a power - fade - medium trajectory.

I didn't want to go with a power player to begin with, but it adds a good 60-70 yards to my tee shot. That makes a bigger difference approaching the green than some added accuracy for me.

Also, all of your chip shots within roughly 70 yards or so are an up and down swing instead of diagonal.

8 under par, 8 birdies and 10 pars. Pretty solid round, I missed 2 fairways and maybe 4 greens. Just barely missed 2 eagle putts but I sinked one bunker shot.

I improved my playing when I switched from x-stiff shafts to stiff shafts. Play with wrong kind of shafts = trouble.

Amazing how nervous you can be playing video game, 17th and 18th are really nasty holes playing against the wind. My hands were sweating like I was getting married lol.

8 under par, 8 birdies and 10 pars. Pretty solid round, I missed 2 fairways and maybe 4 greens. Just barely missed 2 eagle putts but I sinked one bunker shot.

I improved my playing when I switched from x-stiff shafts to stiff shafts. Play with wrong kind of shafts = trouble.

I'll have to give the stiff shafts a try. I think I have all of mine on x stiff.

And yes, I was nervous as hell on the 18th as well lol. Especially after I hit a terrible tee shot. I actually had to sink a 20 foot putt for par.

Basicly stiffer the shaft = more power and more risk. Miss a swing with a shaft which is too stiff for you = more error to to the ball's flight path than with a looser shaft.

In real golf swinging too hard on a loose shaft is also more error or wicked shots but I don't know if that's the case in the game.

Events have two tries so that if you freeze during a round you will have another shot at the round. When you freeze in the tourney round it counts as a try, so last year we implemented 2 tries and one submission.

This is something else that falls under the honor system we play by. Do not, play the round not like your score and play the round again. If people are caught cheating you will be given the boot.
