Just shot a +1 on the final round of the Weekly to end with a +19. Never been so proud.

Had a +3 going into the back 9. Parred all of the holes except two birdies.

That being said, I'm glad we went back to no grid. Don't use it anyway, and it really makes you study your putts.

Ready to get home and play the daily and some of the weekly tourny. I can honestly say that this is the first TW game that has me excited to jump back in daily.

I think I've come close to mastering perfect on the back swing. Does anyone know what underswing/overswing on the follow thorugh does to the ball? I mostly hit underswing on the follow through but not by choice. I have only got perfect a handful of times. And rarely do I get overswing. Does anyone know what I can do to my CAG or swing to get perfect more often? Thanks.

the bad drops annoy me. LinksLS had proper drop options for water hazards 15 years ago! How hard is that to code?

This, along with the brick wall trees, have to get fixed for next gen - particularly with Simulation difficulty being as tough as it is.

Nothing. It is you with your controller what is causing the over/under swing on backswing and slow/fast on followtrough.

But don't worry too much about slow followtrough as long as it's almost perfect. I think that to hit perfect speed on followtrough you need good tempo which in my opinion is same as fast backswing, atleast with full swing strokes. All my drives are slow strokes but they are almost perfect in terms of swing speed.

And missing the perfect-perfect on your swing causes mis-hit. Not sure how but I think it would be logical that underswing-slow is safer than overswing-fast.

Agreeing with all the above posts the hard work and and learning is paying off. But even with that said and a high ranked CAG nothing is guaranteed. A bad hole, a bad shot or 2 can ruin your round. Especially like Dan said, get greedy and go for that par 5 in 2? Be prepared for the consequences, your eagle hopes just went to bogey or worse.
I find I do MUCH better in this game with CONSISTENT SWING TEMPO, and sacrifice the swing speed a bit. The distance will need to come from the club and the skill attributes.

I do however 'push' pretty firmly for putts.

This is about the hardest thing to quantify, the perfect swing.

Since I 'fixed' my swing this weekend, I get a perfect backswing about 75% of the time, and a relaxed, slower forward swing for the sake of accuracy. I'll happily sacrifice some yardage to keep the ball in the short stuff, all day every day. It will probably be forever before I get an eagle!

Also ctulb has a great point about the 'solid' trees. One thing to hit into a major branches and leaves grouping to stop the ball, another thing to blast a shot through just some leaves or tiny brittle end branches. Hopefully next gen gets it fixed.

Trying to get a CC play date going, would love to have at least 10 people on the course at once just to see if it works. I'm sure weekends are better for most. If y'all are interested let me know.
I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

Yeah I have to work tonight but woke up a little early and jumped on to play the daily lol

I shot a +4 and AGAIN very easily left 3-4 strokes out there. Overall I'm happy as I didn't have a blowup hole this time.

I've been really taking my time and reading the green from all angles etc..
I think I should be scoring better by now but I'm getting there.
Going to miss playing Wednesday through Saturday.

Sad part about it I'm telling the truth. Had this problem last year with our CC as well lol. You would think it was big $$ involved the way I act.

Not gonna front and act like today's Daily was a breeze because it was tough. I just couldn't get close to the flag. The breezy wind conditions and the dark front 9 made it tough. I bogeyed hole # 1 and was +1 though 8. On the back I was able to drain 3 putts over 15 ft and one was over 25 ft. The course was sunny on the back 9 but the front I felt helpless as it was just to dark for me too even see the hole on the longer putts. Even though my drives weren't BOMBS I was able to hit every fairway except for one.

Finished at -3. Helluva challenge and great call on this weeks venue. Mad props Bighoff!!!

Forgot the beer did calm my nerves, no shakes!!

Depending on the time I would be down for a night of this. Saturday is out but Sunday night around 8pm I could jump on for a round
