Personally I'm not for turning everything back on. I really thought this was gonna be a Sim style club??? I get the feeling some just won't be satisfied until they shoot sub par rounds daily???? I want the challenge of struggling a rd some days and being on fire on others.

Someone mentioned earlier that they didn't want to hear about they just need to practice, hate to disappoint but its true. Before I even think a bout jumping into a daily I go to the range hit about 30-50 ball just to get a groove going and go play the daily. Low scores are there to be had but the game is only 5 days old. Just seems a little soon to imo to start tweaking. Guys who are already shooting -5/+5 range are gonna go even lower don't you think?? The settings now aren't that challenging FOR ME as it is now. Don't get me wrong I can still go high. I just hope it doesn't turn into last year where -4/-9 becsme the norm

My scores started dropping as my golfer attributes starting getting around 65/70 level. I would be curious to know what those who are struggling what your golfer level is???

If CC decides to turn more & more aids on I will probably decide to find a more Strictly Sim CC because that's what I was orginally looking for. Whatever the final decision is I appreciate those that take out the time to make the dailys/weekly tourneys work.

Normal shot shaping? Is that like no matter what kind of shot the swing arc is north-south?

I don't mind if green grid without beads is put back on, most important information is visible even without it which is the amount of up/down slope. Grid helps me a little but not too much really...

I agree Flight. I'd rather struggle and shoot crappy (realistically) and work towards a good sub-par round. After all, this is Sim and is what most of us wanted. IMO the only thing that should be on is Zoom to Aimband wind speed. I say turn everything else off and every man for himself!

I agree with the group. Leave the settings alone. The good will still be great. Normal shot shaping will make the game too easy. I think people are bitching because the forum is a place to bitch. You can't be dead on the pin every shot.

I just don't want to see the game get dumb down. My last 5 rds I've played were -2, -2, -5, -2, +6. I got the +6 in todays daily at Torrey Pines which I never play well anyway but that's an issue I have not the game settings. For those of us and there are some who have been shooting around these scores and better adding aids is gonna kill the exp for us. Can't we take the good with the bad?

When I started out last week I was terrible, I just got better and worked it out at the range and made sure I had the correct shafts and couple that with the type of golfer that I can use. I can't use a power golfer because I would be all over the place. I can't use a draw because I can't control that swing with my thumbs. I like a Power/Draw type golfer becsuse it looks good but it doesn't suit my swing/stick skills. I will gladly take my 260-290 yard golfer and be in the fairway with a nice/managable 2nd shot into the green than stuck in the deep rough under a tree. Thats Golf fellows

My putting isn't the best but when I'm 30 feet away I'm not thinking about making it because realistically I'm not. I'm lagging it up close to the pin for Par. That's golf fellows and those that play the game know what I'm talking about.

Golf is a tough sport and it takes practice to get better and this game is the closest I've seen that resembles a Sim game of golf and I hope we can come to a happy median without sacrificing the constant random challenge that the game of Golf has provided since I've started playing. PEACE! !!!

I agree, can't go back to normal shot shaping. It will be way too easy. If that's the case I might need a new club to join. Love the way it is now.

What's up everyone. Got the game been playing (struggling) and just want to get in the club again. I have all the DLC (hard time dropping $70 on the game and 4k in MS Points. Told my girl it's the only game i'll get until NCAA comes out (yea right)!Just so I can confirm are we still using the following settings below to date? WILL we be changing settings? I'm all for the Sim settings. Finally shooting consistently in the +6/-2 range. Really adds enjoyment to the game. The Sim settings force me to really work each hole on limiting shots out of the rough and sand traps. Its been a few rounds without a water hazard penalty and that gets me excited.

+10 in the Easter daily, Torrey Pines is tough going with a headwind

Well, if the grid is staying off I may respectfully leave the cc. With the grid I was consistently shooting in the +3 to +8 range. Without it, I was +15 through 8 holes because I was 3-5 putting on every hole. I just can't see the contours withou it. Can see the dramatic ones but not the subtle ones.

I agree that advance shot shaping should stay on, normal would make me a 100% FIR like last year. Right now I'm hovering around a 70% FIR (I think) which is pretty realistic.

I agree with everything else but the grid. That is all, I have spoken my mind.

Just shot +9 in the daily. Second guessed myself on 18 and it cost me.
A few holes I got myself in trouble. Could have easily shot around +4 or +5..
Live and learn.

We finally have the difficulty from Tiger that many of us have been waiting for.Please do not change anything unless you can make it even more realistic and/or harder.

Personally, I have am enjoying getting taking out behind the wood shed and getting my a#$ spanked over and over from Mr.Woods. It took me over 10 tries to get out of Q school and I loved every moment of it.

Keep at it fellas. We can't always have instant gratification

To be clear, I do like the green grid on with no beads. I thought that is what we had settled on, maybe not.

Please don't change the settings. It seems everyone wanted a Sim CC, but it is harder than what people thought and now want to change it so its easier.

IMO, golf is a hard sport that you have to get better at, practice, yes we talkin bout practice.

I shot a +5 at Torrey pines, but I was a +6 on front nine. I took my time and stopped gripping n ripping.

Please leave the settings as they are... It's golf people.
