To piss off David Fay, I hope Jeff Maggert wins. He has the type of game to win US Opens.

However, I think Vijay will win. His tee shots have been insanely accurate lately, with only a few mishaps.

Shinnecock's course is the shortest for a Major lately...While Tiger, Els, Phil, or one of the big names could easily take it, I'm gonna go with Sergio Garcia. He's been playing well lately, and I think his game sets up well for this course. I also think Padraig Harrington has a shot

Harrington and Garcia have a shot, but it's a long one. I believe a European hasn't won the US Open since the mid 60's.

yeah, I don't think I'd bet money in Vegas on it, they're both just playing well lately and I think they could get on fire this weekend. Honestly, Freddie Couples, if he's on, has a great shot like Squid said. I'd love to see him win.
