Wow, the course played unbelievably tough today. The 7th hole was insanely cruel to the field.
If the course plays the same tomorrow, we are in for one hell of a finish.

makes total sense...drying that green out is just cruel though, no possible way to get the ball to stay up there. Made for great TV though, and while it's a cruel hole, it's a major and everyone has to play through it. Kind of a good test of character

Well I would say that atleast two or three greens are almost dead.

I enjoy a tough course but you should not be punished at the US open for hitting good shots.

Yeah, kind of sad that people were wanting to hit it in the bunker to make the second shot a little easier. Only one birdie on that hole all day and that came from the second group out. I am anxious to see where the pin location is going to be today for that hole.

they're watering the greens all day today for like 3 holes, including the evil 7th, because some of these greens are borderline unfair, as opposed to tough like Open greens should. What boggles my mind is how this could happen, with all the planning that goes into hosting this event. I just hope those greens don't really hurt people, meaning the championship isn't decided just by those holes
