Re: TGC Tours (www.tgctours.com)
Champions A for me as well. Was on the Web tour for one tourney before they flighted everyone. Made the cut, but was still 40 strokes behind the winner, haha. Looking forward to this first tourney at Bushtail Valley - played a couple practice rounds last night and posted some good scores. Hopefully with the new flights we won't see winners shooting four rounds of 60 each week.Well now, everything dies, baby that's a fact. But maybe everything that dies, someday comes back. - The BossComment

Re: TGC Tours (www.tgctours.com)
Yeah I thought I read that too. Figured it happened because I had just finished Q-School and only played one tourney. Lots of people didn't actually submit scores so I probably got lucky to have made the cut in the first place, ha. That tourney was at Links at Liberty Sound and the wind was like 15mph+ for each round. Pin placements on that course are really dumb as well. Bushtail plays much more fair, but the elevation changes going into some of the greens definitely make you think.Well now, everything dies, baby that's a fact. Re: TGC Tours (www.tgctours.com)
I obviously haven't seen you play (that I can remember) but I bet you'll be more competitive than you think. Remember that all the guys who were winning are probably moved up to Web now. I'm still not betting that I'll win an event anytime soon but I think I can at least be closer than I was before. Even if I'm wrong, at least we're in with the best of the worst
Wouldn't have minded spending a week in B though and strolling to a win. I'd have a 14-shot lead at the moment down there.Comment

Re: TGC Tours (www.tgctours.com)
Apparently so. I currently top the leaderboard! I know I won't end up winning as my 3rd round was not good and I already saw someone post that they ended up with a better score than what I finished up with. But I guess I belong in A after all. The tgctours people know me better than I know myself.

Also, did you see the new promotion email? Sounds like it's going to be even tougher to get all the way up to PGA/Euro. I completely get why they did it but it's going to take me even longer to get through now...PSN: JWGoNDComment

Re: TGC Tours (www.tgctours.com)
I'm on Web-B, which seems about right for my skill set. I'm playing in my second tourny this week at Tobacco Dunes, shot a respectable 63 & 67 my first two rounds, placing me in 25th position. My putting went to crap in my second round, I missed at least 4 birdie putts that I usually make.
This is a great setup, TGC is doing excellent work to create a career based system that the game lacks, and their setup of multiple tours based on skill level is nicely done. I am -12 after two rounds and the leader is -21, so realistically I probably won't ever contend to win a tournament, finishing top 10-20 would be a realistic goal.Comment

Re: TGC Tours (www.tgctours.com)
I haven't picked up TGC yet as without a season/career mode, it didn't interest me but someone said I should check out TGCtours if that's what I'm into, so I did.
The Arnold Palmer Invitational leaderboard is on the main page. The leader/winner is at -71 I assume over 4 rounds (217 strokes). If this occurred in Tiger, there would be an uproar but is this how it is in TGC? Unrealistic scoring to tournaments?
I know there are also people that struggle and I've read this thread with people shooting well, well above par but is just a tad unrealistic isn't it (lol) to have guys at -71 and -66 for a tournament. Kind of dampened my interest in this.Comment

It is tougher than Tiger though, because there is less detailed information to go off of.Comment
