The DLC to bring the current digital version up to par with the collectors edition was slated for release in mid May. This date was pushed back to 5/21, and subsequently pushed back another "7-15" days according to the latest statement from the developer.

Yeah, we've had a bit of delay due to store issues. It's been a real pain in my butt :-) Making games unfortunately isn't just about the art of making games :-(

Hey Anthony...is this a delay on top of the delay referenced in your "Going Grey" blog? Or is it still the 7-15 days from then?

I'm anxious to give you all my money But seriously, I went in to play an official course the other day and noticed some new ones listed. Without thinking about things, I tried to give one a go...only to have it be one of the tropical ones. Talk about taunting someone...

Anyway, I'll continue to wait patiently in appreciation for the top-notch support that you and your crew have provided for this game.

I'm beginning to think there is no DLC, at this point the time it's taken to certify & release a piece of content that has been present on the disc version is just absurd.

MS/Sony should be able to do a simple DLC update in no time, not 2+ weeks BEYOND the scheduled date.

I questioned this move from the beginning. I don't think its right to charge something that other users got for free, especially those that have been here since day 1, then to have it delayed. I maybe be blasted for this and I'm not saying I'm entitled for anything free, but it just seems like they have "sold out" to me.

Nope, I am starting to feel the exact same way. I've been a very loyal supporter from the original console release, now that we're being made to wait endlessly really rubs me the wrong way. Also MS/Sony should be way better "partners" to HB in this situation, offering a much more reasonable timeframe to essentially screw the long time supporters such as myself.

Agreed. Having purchased all 3 versions, I am feeling the same and getting more irritated with each new delay.

I think that is the issue, especially not knowing how to develop their PS4 update to handle the PSN store interface for the DLC that has held this thing up already for 2 additional weeks and who knows how much longer. Personally, I don't believe MS nor Sony are responsible whatsoever for this mess of an update.

Doesn't MS/Sony certification take form 7-15 days. That's what I've always heard from this generation to last generation and the generation before that.

I would expect an update sometime this upcoming week.

I'm sure HB didn't improve the situation through inexperience, but I don't think MS/Sony helped the situation at all by providing detailed instructions regarding the Sony PS store submission process. I assume having to work with MS/Sony through a DLC/content update cert process is like scooping your eye out with a rusty spoon.

What really drives me bonkers is everyone acts like this is some ground breaking process that's never been seen before. We're not talking about splitting the atom, curing cancer or getting my neighbor to weed his flower beds.....we're talking about a video game software update. Magic can be made in a matter of hours in the area of software, no need for 7-15+ day cert periods, which inevitably get delayed.

This was supposed to be out two weeks ago. Yes they have made a great game no one is denying that. And we have both said that we have been loyal since day one. The execution of this has been an epic failure, Weather it's been on hb's part, ms/sonys or maximum games. Not sure I want to spend $10 on something that should've have been free to ALL users, after waiting this long.

No, it did not.

The original digital version was $35
The retail disc version is $39.99

The DLC to upgrade the original digital version is going to be $10, making it a $45 investment to get on par with what any new customer has had for the last month (& only paid $39.99 for).

It just rubs me the wrong way as a loyal supporter of TGC/HB that not only do I have to pay an extra $5 (which I would have GLADLY done at the time or disc release) but have been yanked around for over a month playing the MS/Sony certification waiting game.
