What is this quick round stuff? I don't want to play 4 rounds in the period of time I play 1.. I want to play all 4 rounds normally.

We aren't forced to use this quick round stuff are we?

You can set the mode to Full Rounds if you like. Quick Rounds is just the default setting for the mode. The key to Quick Rounds is that it is a replacement for the 1, 2 and 3 round options for Tournaments in the mode. We felt those options weren't true to the PGA TOUR experience. We really wanted the authenticity of playing 4 rounds. Things like fighting to make the cut on a Friday, trying to move up the leaderboard on moving day, and the pressure of a final round were all lost with the shorter amount of rounds. Now, with all tournaments being 4 rounds, we can deliver that more authentic PGA TOUR experience.

That being said, most users don't want to play 4 full rounds (our telemetry showed that about 75% of users would play 1 round tournaments in prior career modes, 22% would play 4 rounds, and the other 3% would select 2 or 3 rounds). Quick Rounds still allows those users to progress through tournaments as fast as they used to with the 1 round setting(well, much faster with no hole to hole loads).

Speaking of no hole to hole loads, can you divulge info on how that's going to be portrayed? Is it going to be just a blackout screen then next hole; or is there going to be a "cutscene" with the golfers abbreviatedly walking to the next tee, or what?

No it is not from a reverse angle. Although I agree, that would be a cool throwback to the old Sega and SNES PGA TOUR games. I will keep that in mind for the future. Maybe call it "Reverse Pro" or something.

Are there any pre-shot camera settings that can be customised or do we toggle through the presets much like previous versions of the game.

No, the backswing meter cannot be toggled off. It was a fairly late addition and we didn't have time to add a setting for it. It is definitely something I want to address in the future, perhaps in an early patch.

There are Address Camera options in Presentation Settings. The 4 options are: Low, Default, High and Top. When you set your address camera, you will always load into a new shot with that camera. You can then toggle to the other cameras at address using RB/R1.

Thanks for answering... and please do keep it in mind for the future. If you get a chance to check out Perfect Golf on the PC, they have a reverse-angle camera that's pretty close to what I'm thinking about, although I think it cuts to the reverse-angle camera about 20% sooner into the flight than I wish it would. It also tends to lose the ball due to being obscured by bunker mounds and greenside objects, on occasion. In other cases, it miscalculates the ball's final resting place and has to pan 180 degrees and follow it to its finish further downstream.

Thanks for the info.......that toggle for the backswing meter would be a good option to have,I guess if you can make a change post release defaulting to 'off' in 'Tour' mode may be welcome.

A 15 year career doesn't seem very long. Tiger Woods has been on the tour for 23 years. Nicklaus won championships spanning 24 years.

If you want to make an all-time great, 15 years is rather short.
