So once you progress in your career, are you able to buy real clubs and apparel? I hate the EA Logo all over everything? Can anyone post a video of all the equipment and clothing options?

And they said on the stream that there will be a day 1 update which is always a plus.

They also said awhile ago that they will elaborate more on the new, non-yearly business model on launch day.

Yes, there's one called "Pro" camera for tee to green and for putting. However, I'm finding it very difficult to follow the ball from the Pro camera setting (golfer's view) even with the comet trail on. It doesn't do a semi-zoom to track and follow the ball from the golfer's eyes like Tiger 11, 12, and 13 did with their True-Aim cameras. As poorly implemented as it is, I still prefer it to the whimsical Follow Cam though.

Do the pros (Rory) only have one outfit in the game? I haven't seen any videos of him where he isn't wearing that blue shirt.

I've only got a round, and 5 holes in on arcade, and only a few holes with custom and harder difficulty settings, and I'm impressed. I have to wonder if some people here have only watched someone streaming on arcade, and are just ranting, or if some people are just jumping into the preview without really looking at the options and playing quickly in arcade, and complaining.

I get some of the legit gripes, I have some as well. However, it's not as bad at all to me as some are making it seem.

I've still got several hours on my preview to go, so unless something horrific happens, I'll be picking up my pre-order. I've still yet to get into career mode so that could have an impact on me.

I've got the itch to just sit here for 8 hours and finish off my trial, but I had to hit the range tonight with my new taylormade irons, tomorrow is the wifes birthday, and saturday I'm getting out to play 18 with my new clubs. Busy weekend coming up unfortunately.

Nice! Congrats on the new clubs. I'll have to wait until Tuesday to get my hands on the game, hopefully it turns out ok. I think people's expectations were probably a little too high. I mean it's ea (not slamming them, just going off past history). On the other hand at least there is another game out there so we have options wich is more than we can say about another certin ea game.

I just saw a video showing the Golfer List, and there's an old man, and an old woman, and their names are Ma and Pop Masterson.

How in the WORLD could they not name them Mr and Mrs Havencamp???!!!!??

Nothing official and I'm pretty sure that EA Sports is going to sit on this information until after Tuesday, but if I had to guess, I'd say the XB1 version is 720p/30 FPS. It could be 900p because of the way Frostbite does organic textures, but I'm seeing blockiness that portends more of 720p. Whatever resolution the XB1 is, I'm willing to bet that the PS4 version will come in at 180p higher resolution.

I thought I saw in one video, if you hit LB on the Golfer Select screen, you can change outfits.

Double Ugghh. Managed to birdie 18 in a tournament to end up in a tie for 1st after the leader finished. No playoff. I just get the win by default; my first win; with no fanfare or mention besides the little news blurb loading screen. I am also not seeing any real stat tracking for the tour career. Tour Career; my primary interest; is feeling really weak right now.

Pops is actually a EA golf legend. He was in a lot of the old TW games.

Glad to see him back with his weird swing. Didn't know he had a wife though Lol

Really loving the game so far, always been a career mode kinda guy so I'm loving this mode so far. Any one know if there's a way to change your guys swing style? Does it change based on the type of golfer you choose? Would be cool if it did.

Also the quick round feature in career mode is awesome, could see this preventing me from winning every single tournament like in previous years haha.

Yup. It's really nice and refreshing to see 3 totally different golf games on the market.

I'm not sure if it's too high of expectations or just being really picky.

Who knows, maybe the PS4 version will have a different look. Will find out on Tuesday.

Also curious about the day one update as well and what will be in it (Bug fixes? New courses?).

Ready to tee it up on PS4!

I miss choosing our own swing animations like in TW10 & TW11. Added some extra personality to our golfers : )

When I hear this it makes me wonder if the game was built from the ground up how could the same scoring bug rear its ugly head on the new systems?

Still loving the game and my mind is made up come Tuesday but I'm not gonna lie I'm disappointed somewhat with this years version of my favorite game.
