Either you have access to the code or not and once you have used the code, then you should be able to use the course in your career. Being connected to the internet should not be a requirement.

His response simply doesn't hold up IMO.
It explains why users who are not connected to the internet cannot play the course. It will all be a moot point in 14 days anyway. Don't shoot the messenger. I don't make these decisions.....

Considering when you play TPC Scottsdale, you see the Waste Management Open logo all over, there has to be something coming up in the future that will allow you to play/add more events in career mode. No idea why it would be there otherwise.

No, i'm not blaming you or criticizing your response. I'm simply stating no one has access to the game right now, unless they preordered the game from an authorized retailer who provided the consumer with a redeemable code, so it doesn't make sense to require an internet connection to play the game.

It's just some BS excuse EA is giving us is the greater point i'm trying to make.

This. Seems to add more credibility to the idea of career mode/tour expansion as we go along; at least I am hoping so.

Also....worst-named tournament ever. Not sure I'd even want the so-named trophy if I won

They should change the name to Wasted Management Open if you consider 75% of the fans are at the 16th......
