I've never been a huge Spieth fan but for him to stand up and answer those ridiculous questions just asked of him with such grace has me maybe changing tunes.

If I'd just given up the Masters Tin Cup style and were asked those questions I probably would have stormed out after being asked things like "Does it hurt more that you lost or were you just happy being in it?"

I genuinely feel bad for Jordan. He wasn't particularly playing well the majority of the week. He was blocking shots consistently but his scrambling was what was keeping him in the lead day after day. Augusta National has always been a course that exposes flaws and weaknesses in ones game. Jordan finally succumbed to that at 12.

Like I said, he had been fighting those blocks constantly and the worse one happened to occur at the most crucial of times when Willet was making a move and Jordan had just come off two straight bogeys at 10 and 11. I have huge respect for how Jordan handled the post round interview. He didn't over react or do anything regrettable. He handled the lose with class and I'm even more of a fan of him now than I was prior to the start of the week.

I hope Jordan gets his swing sorted soon. Ever since he on the Hyundai Tournament of Champions, his swing has been off.

What a tough day for Spieth. That breakdown, was so painful to watch, can only imagine how he felt. Then having to answer those questions, and put the green jacket on Willett. Damn, that's tough. He handled it well in my opinion.

Augusta sure looked beautiful this weekend.

Really great interview Spieth did here:

Also saw this on Twitter and GolfWRX, gave me a good chuckle.

Totally brutal for Spieth....although maybe this kicks him into a higher gear in the long run. He seems like the type of person that can get better from something like this.

I would say they will be fine, especially what his caddie wrote the other day:

After Jordan Spieth's stunning defeat at the 2016 Masters, Spieth's caddie Michael Greller declined to speak to the media. However, Greller did open up on Facebook with a lengthy reflection. "The 2016 Masters stung," Greller said in the post, first shared…

Why are pine needles deemed a hazard? Never really agreed with that.

Yeah not sure. I guess because they're a loose moveable object? As opposed to grass which is rooted? Don't really know.

Off topic: I would love to play Harbour Town Golf Links. Really enjoyed watching the RBC Heritage this weekend. Beautiful course.

Liking what I'm seeing so far from DeChambeau. He was my dark horse pick this week. Guy that's 624th in the world on top. Doubt it lasts, but he is probably playing the round of his life right now.

Yeah hopefully it stays that way. But it'll be pretty clear for the rest of the weekend (so they say).

I was not at all crazy about Fox's coverage last year but I think they nailed it this year.

That split cam (or whatever you want to call it) on drives is awesome.

It's DJ, but I can't imagine him blowing this lead. Guy deserves this win after all the implosions.

Well, good for DJ. I was watching this on SkySports and they were hammering the organizers for the lag in decision on DJ for the ball moving. Kind of an uneventful finish overall though. DJ doesn't exactly play to the crowd either...he's pretty much one level and that's even.
