I bought it for Xbox. How do you unlock Tour mode? It had better be much harder than default mode. It is way too easy and I couldn't say that about last year's version with a default character, aids off, fast greens, fast fairways, etc. for PS2.

I took my controller and purposely simulated a number "7" on my swing to shank it and I hit it right down the middle. This is with a default character and all the difficulty options turned up.

If it's anything like 2004, you'll need to get the PC version if you want to play realistic challenging golf.

Yup, it's like 2004. Birdie-fest. Don't get me wrong, this year's version is fun, but EA didn't make it much if any tougher.

Would you guys recommend this game to somebody who knows nothing about golf but is looking for a fun game?

I had last years game briefly than I traded it in.

I'm going to head out to the EA Store in the next few weeks and I'm going to be picking out a few games (I'm getting NHL 2005 and Live 2005 and I have the option of grabbing one more game for free).

How's is the CAP mode? Is Mike Weir in the game?

The whole game is easy. It felt exactly the same as Tiger Woods 2003 and 2004. Instead of fixing the way the swing engine is execute, they change the golf course with TigerProofing. I think that is the wrong way to go.

EA needs to have at least a mode that the swing engine is alot more sensible. It's a joke. I have to try to get to the rough. That is how easy it is.
