I gave this a go and I do agree it looks better visually

Were you using any specific settings in terms of frame rate lock or anything?

The putting doesn’t seem to be working right and the swing is super super sensitive for some reason

With 13 I lowered the clock scale in the advanced tab to 95 %. Also if you have missing textures in either game, just uncheck read color buffers in the advanced tab. Dont use write color buffers in the GPU tab that add depth of field. The putting in 13 is different. For short putts it's a short back swing and long putts a longer backswing, where as 14 it an easier system.

Yeah I agree, it's more of a challenge. Here's hoping someone gets the DLC working. I have tried many different methods. I know it works on a jailbroken ps3, but I couldnt go back to those mushy 720p graphics after seeing this at 4k haha.

Can someone post exact steps to get this working. Tried everything and deleted the file they say to. Stays stuck at loading intro screen no matter what i do

I am using a dual shock 4. Trying setting frame limit to auto.

1. Install the game & 1.01 update - you will get the freeze intro
2. Move the PARAM.SFO from disc\PS3_GAME one directory up
3. Move these 3 files to recycle bin:

dev_hdd0\home\00000001\savedata\BLUS31063-USER0\PARAM.SFO
dev_hdd0\game\BLUS31063\PARAM.SFO
dev_hdd0\game\BLUS31075\PARAM.SFO may not be installed.

4. Boot the game via Boot SELF/ELF -> disc\PS3_GAME\USRDIR\EBOOT.BIN
5. Confirm works as expected and you get to main menu
6. Restore the PARAM.SFO from step 2. back into the disc\PS3_GAME directory
7. Relaunch rpcs3 and try to launch from the UI. It will say version 1.00 and is corrupted and can't be launched
8. Reinstall 1.01 patch
9. Launch the game as normal, it should now work and you can now set custom configs/increase resolution etc.

I couldn't do it if i updated it to 1.01. So try leaving it at 1.00.

I’ve also never gotten the updated versions to work.

Just stick with the 1.0 versions

Auto doesn't work but 30 does. If the player animations are to fast you know you need to change it. But 30 frame limit and 95% clock scale is the best for me so far.

You need to navigate to the those folders above.

Just had a beautiful round on the second nine of Pebble. Things were working wonderfully with 30fps lock and my Dualshock 3 (legit, not a fake)

This game is simply outstanding. I have the hang of the putting (somewhat). It's quite a bit different and more nuanced than in TW14. I really like it actually! Something close to this gameplay would be my hope for EA PGA 2023

Yeah I hope they utilize some of the same features, like looking down at the ball to see slope etc and turning off zoom to aim like TW14. Great pic ! Game looks amazing. I read an article with one of the developers of RPSC3, they said it can upscale so well because although the console was 720p Game developers used higher resolution textures than 720p. So they scale really well. Check out the link I posted for putting tips.
